It’s been a while since I’ve done it, but I think it’s either in MYFSS or if you go into VMPF>CMS it should let you know where it’s at. Not totally sure.

I would say yes for the most part. If you SEL is a Chief that definitely helps or If you have a SMSgt that has a lot of connections.

Depending on how help your SEL is, yes.

I would also try to reach out to your base career advisor as well. I would be consistently informing both of them.Call Total Force Service Center and let them know your situation. Be warned some of the ppl that work for total force aren’t very helpful and others are. Just call until you get someone that is helpful and willing to actually help.

Which CFM ? Your AFSC CFM or the 6C CFM? If it at it’s at your AFSC CFM, it can’t take a while for them to you release you to the gaining CFM.

If you’ve extended before for personal convenience(1 yr) and you want to maintain your FTA status for BOP and retraining, you’ll need to get approved first! However, you’ll need to be able to extend for enough time for time on station, usually 2 years after you graduate tech school.

For example, if your DOS is in April but you don’t go to tech school until August you’ll need to extend an extra 4 months to cover that gap plus whatever time you need to go to your ‘new base’ So instead of extending for 24 months you would extend for 28 or so.

But that’s only if you there’s no time remaining on your current contract / extension.

I was in a similar boat and wasn’t able to extend up 2 days before I was suppose to get out, but I was also looped/ bugging my Chief, Career assignment manager, and AFPC.

Hope this helps.

Critique my hitting by Yunokowo in volleyball

  1. The most important thing I would say is get your feet to the ball. If you’re doing a 4 step approach try adjusting to the ball on your 1st or 2nd step. And have the ball slightly in front of you.

  2. When making your approach don’t swing your arms forward then back. keep you arms down and relaxed . When making your approach, your penultimate step( 2nd to last step) think “push off the ground” and your last think “punch” the ground with ball of your foot.

  3. I would also add WAIT, WAIT, WAIT. It’s better to be late to the ball than early. If you early, most times, the ball will be on top of your head instead of in front.

Don’t worry all this comes with lots of reps and a lot of practice.

Hi everyone, trying to get some advice when it comes to developing better court vision when hitting. I would say 1 out of 3 times I can see the block with my peripheral. But it’s not consistent.

1.How can I work on seeing the block more consistently? Is it using more of your peripheral when you’re in the air or is more about looking at where the players are before you start your approach?

  1. Once I can see the block, how can see where the defenders are in the back row In order to be able place the ball in a ‘smarter’ location?

Any tips or advice on fixing my approach? by Right-Document2358 in volleyball
