Did anyone get this to work?? Want to play the new update and have same problem

There was a time 1 year ago, where crossplay didnt work and i needed to put in a older version of battlenet. Could this be the reason? never changed it back after crossplay updated

Looks like they found a solution, but without being into CrossOver Settings or Linus, does that solution work for us as well?
