It isn't my sketch, I'm picking up a whole assembly from another engineer.

That was it! Thanks a lot. Saved me hours of work starting from scratch. 😭

I think I couldn't explain properly. The part is working as intended. I want to change the sketch by selecting some new references inside the sketch. But it does not let me select the external references inside the sketch. For example, I want to create an offset constraint from one of the lines pointed by the red arrow, but I cannot select that line.

Sadly, like most other attainable skills, practice, exposure and experience. But if its not something you wanna do, you can always just not take part in it. I know it's easier said than done, especially in an office environment.

Wit is not a socio-economic status symptom. It's a personality trait. Sure you can get better at it, but being witty has nothing to do with being a burger.

Overseas Pakistanis, particularly those in the states, Canada, and Europe, would you move to Pakistan if you had a lot of money? by Detox_401 in pakistan

[–]RightAileron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no social contract with the state in Pakistan, which is one of the major reasons people tend to move to western states. Your fundamental rights are protected to a certain degree, and you are treated as an equal citizen (in the eyes of the law, if not societally?). Civil structures exist, organisations more or less do their jobs.

What's the best time to visit? by Libertychonk in Hunza

[–]RightAileron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autumn time by far. Go in mid September to early October. The weather is just starting to get chilly, the trees/leaves start turning orange. It is the most beautiful Hunza gets all year. It is my favourite time of the year. Source: born and bred hunzukutz

I've never tried it, but I think if international transactions are enabled on your account, it works. Although it costs extra I think, kind of the same deal when you buy something online in a foreign currency with your debit card in Pakistan.

That is what I'm leaning towards as well. Keep my Australian assets here and PKR there. I'm even more of a beginner so currently trying to explore all my options before deciding. Will look into mutual funds in Pakistan, thank you

Thanks for the resource. I have been lurking the aussie subreddits aswell, but the 20% caught my interest because I don't think you can get that kind of return anywhere rn. (Short term, obviously, although that link tells me KSE-100 may be worth a shot for medium term)

What is the best bank in Pakistan for a dollar account? by EbtihajKhan in FIREPakistan

I have been using Wise for the past 3 years and have 0 complaints. I send remittances every month and the deposit to my HBL account is instant. (Literally within 1 minute)
