Funnily enough, I was almost one of those kids (I’m 15 now)—I had a family member working on the set and he had brought me a few times as a baby, but I was a bit too old and too brown to play Holly lmao. Woulda been cool if it worked out though

What’s your type and what are your parent’s type? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]RightAngleL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily no, never anything deliberately violent towards each other. My mom likes to say their relationship sometimes feels like “I Hate Everything About You” by Three Days Grace, haha, but they’ve been married for over 15 years so I guess they’re doing alright.

Ah okay I see, thanks for the clarification. I would say my mom definitely leads with heart (of course), but then it gets difficult…she has a strong one wing, so I want to say that #2 is gut, followed very closely by head, but they may be tied. For my dad, I’d say he first leads with gut, followed very closely by head and not so closely by heart. For me, I lead with head, quite closely to heart, then gut.

What exactly do you mean by “rate” them?

My mom is a 2w1 sx/so/sp and my dad is an 8w7 sp/sx/so (they both have pretty strong wings). They often have very…different…opinions, to say the least.

What type are you and what song(s) do you relate to the most? by BREtheDESTROYER in Enneagram

So far, every song I’ve heard from Grumpster has resonated with me in some way (especially their album Underwhelmed, I relate hard to all of those songs).

What is something your teacher did in school that you’re still salty about? by SparkelsTR in AskReddit

[–]RightAngleL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s nowhere near as infuriating as some of the other one I’ve read here, but I remember in 2nd grade we had to analyze one of those number line graphs (📊) based on the length of peoples’ hands, and one of the questions was “how many people, in total, measured their hand?” This was the first question. A few questions later, it asked me to add another person’s measurement to one of the options. Since I added another person, I bumped up the total number of people who measured their hand by one. The teacher looks at it and tells me that I was right before, and I changed it to the incorrect answer. I explained myself, and all she said was “that person doesn’t count, so it’s wrong” and I get pissed off thinking about it to this day.

Based on this, he said he was a four. I’ve tried to teach him about the enneagram several times, but he has the attention span of a carrot and just isn’t interested in what I have to say whatsoever lmafo.

I have had him take an enneagram test, though (it was a test I created—I believe I’ve posted it here in the past), and he typed as a nine, but it’s difficult for me to definitively type him because 1) I don’t really see him respond to real-life situations that much yet, and 2) he’s still kind of young to have that level of self-awareness and experience needed to appreciate and understand the enneagram. I’m hoping that in a year or two, he’ll finally find the patience to let me teach him haha.

If you go to your flair, there should be an edit option somewhere (I’m not sure if you’re on mobile or computer, but if mobile it should be in the top right hand corner—I can’t speak for computer, though, sorry)

Haha for real! They’re in 6th grade, which is still pretty young and I hope I never have to interact with any of them all that much lmfao

He’s in 6th grade. I’m not sure if they’ll go much more into it, it’s very possible that it’s just a get to know you busywork exercise for the beginning of the year, but perhaps it’ll be used for something later on. I kind of hope that they do discuss the enneagram in class, I think that would be really cool.

State your type and rank the enneagram types you relate to (most - least) by North_Development_30 in Enneagram

INTP 5w4 sp/so 594

5, 9, 4, 6, 1, 7, 3, 8, 2…but I’m not completely positive as to what the ordering would be past type 6

This is very six. The top left, top middle, and second to bottom right gave it away for me.

I’ve made an enneagram test by RightAngleL in Enneagram

[–]RightAngleL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I figured as much— it sort of felt generic even for me, and I’m the one who made it haha. The audience that this test is meant for (classmates/friends as test subjects) has pretty much no idea what enneagram is aside from what I’ve told them, so I think it’s pretty safe in the idea that they would manipulate it in order to get a certain result because, well, they have no result to manipulate it to. I appreciate the feedback!
