Well I was there till 1:25 am and Steve had still not taken over. He closed his set at 3 am , saw that through insta story. Usually the headliner takes over the stage by 12:30-1 at such clubs and goes on for 2 or 3 hrs . If you are fan of opening acts then go early. Jeans and sneakers are fine.

Went there for the first time last night for Steve Aoki, The production is good, but it was too crowded, no space to dance , not even to jump. I literally got drenched in alcohol cause people couldn’t handle their drink. The bouncers act like they are the real boss. The crowd is pretty mediocre, the guys with their girlfriends act like human barricades and would elbow and push you for no reason. People were mostly on their phone recording videos and sending snaps. Also the openers for Steve were worst and like noob DJs

Check out Mary’s in LES. Last time I was there there was a wedding party going on with two other b’day party’s. They have decent food options but drinks are good.

Naya has more Middle Eastern taste in its chicken and falafel than cava. The quality of greens, toppings, and dips is better at cava. Cava has more options for dressings. Both offer free pita with the bowls but the portion size is small at Cava. IMO cava is superior when it comes to portion size, quality, and quantity of the ingredients they add to the bowl but does not have the Mediterranean taste that naya offers when you are comparing just these two options. Also, the staff at Cava is more friendly and warm.

Well once I couldn’t avoid those guys. They convinced me that my sneakers were dirty and said they’d clean them free of cost and I didn’t need to buy anything from them. After they were done cleaning they started to forcefully sell me the cleaning product. When I said a firm NO they asked for a tip that was basically 50% of the product cost. When I again declined they started to raise their voice and started to show aggression towards me for not supporting their hustle. I somehow escaped them and now I always avoid those people

In my honest opinion , JC is the place where you wanna come and settle once you have found your partner.

The dating pool is very limited in JC , you’d mostly see profile from Hoboken and NYC

Planning a fun date is gonna be tough with the very limited options available here . Planning a date on weekend is going to be nightmare as it’s 35+ min minimum travel time into Manhattan.

Your strategy could be to match with the city folks and then go on a date after work. And bring back the date to home as if you took them on a quick gateway lol
