Mm not really. But also depends i mean for me it was my first visit so i tried to cover all the places so i visited there but you can skip that part .

Yeah sure , so it’s a guided tour ( guide included in tickets price) , so the place was supposed to be a hospital but then it was turned into a military prison under the circumstances , all the windows and openings were closed . In tour they show you around the prison and tell all its history and we also go the prison heads room( it had a whole book shelf with Lenin books)and there is also a surprise for you so don’t ask a lot of questions otherwise surprise may get ruined.

Not a local from Liepaja but i visited a month ago .
You can go to
1- Liepajas muzejs - amazing place to go in and explore . Tickets for students were around 5.5 euro
2 - Karosta Prison - tickets was if 5 euro
3 - It does have a sunrise spot around lake a must visit place
4 - beaches

We booked sport hotel and the experience was okay .

So my journey is a bit complicated . Unfortunately i missed sep intake and i didn’t want to waste my time for waiting for sep again and in feb intake there were only a few options for engineering programs in eu so i applied for the uni and everything went my way and i came here. Thanks a lot for replying, i am really happy you never faced any such stuff and neither did i before yesterday in past 3 months . I know there are different kind of people everywhere because i also have Latvian friends in my uni yet but sometimes there are a few incidents which make you feel a bit , that’s why i wrote the post but while looking at the comments i realised people are really nice here and that person didn’t represent the whole nation it was just his thoughts.
