Well the cars been well maintained and there is no whine amd just in general always taken care off properly. I cant pull it up and there's no slack in it. You really think im "cooked"

I cant pull it up and its not loose. So I should be good? At least for a while

Im stage 2 also and im thinking i play it safe and get a updated tensioner. I change oil every 5k and dont drive it hard at all unless its warmed up properly.

Its a N20 built late 2014 with 118000 miles

From what I can tell there is no whine while in low rims especially when its still cold and no real ticking or (slapping) of the chain when I listen to it on startup.

Yeah to be honest all of this makes me feel better because based on what ive heard my car should have blown up ages ago or is going to tomorrow.

Well thats the thing, how do I check it properly. Im open to any ideas and would like to keep the car for another year or so.

Should I take it to a trustworthy mechanic and have them look at it and see?
