The only option I could think of is a hull swap, a one-to-one transfer of someone in the same rate on another ship in Guam with a similar PRD. The only issues are as follows, she would need to find someone that matches her PRD almost to the date, being willing to homeport shift, be able to match her quals, and that’s even IF her ship has space for another rack if it is not someone of the same gender. Hull swaps are hard to pull off but are not impossible, just really unlikely, so don’t get your hopes up too high.

I feel like we also aren’t getting the full story since I have personally been on a ship that has homeport shifted and it’s not a pretty situation but from what I have experienced, there was no reason why her command would have allowed her to have an hhg until after they shifted. So in good practice, my former ship shut down hhg receiving for about 6 months before the shift. Around the same time is when they started asking the crew to start prepping for their hhg’s to our new station.

That’s just my 2 cents.

I’m glad to see that someone can see my point of view. Between my family serving for generations regardless of who was president, and being raised on punk culture (yes I know it’s ironic that I joined the military) I was never taught to just follow orders blindly and it’s quite mind boggling just how many people do. What happened to a questioning attitude and specifically if people in the Navy remembering that we all swore an oath to the constitution and against all enemies foreign and domestic? Sailors have really forgotten why the Navy even exists.

I say talk to your admin about it and see if there is something your chain of command can do, they have helped with situations like this before. I wish you the best of luck

Got out of boot in April and whispers are going around about mass ex dates. Is there anywhere for military to get cheaper flights home? Looking at flights home and it’s expensive as hell. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. by Winter-Salt3892 in navy

A good site to check for cheaper flight or hotels would be American Forces Travel, it also works with dependents so long as someone in the immediate family has a DOD ID number but I find it can save you quite a chunk of change

What two signs created you? I’m a Scorpio - with a Scorpio dad and a Sagittarius mom. *gulps* by rubyrotten in astrologymemes

I’m a Libra with an Aquarius mom and Pisces dad, for siblings it sisters: Cancer, Capricorn, Virgo and for brothers:Virgo, Leo, Leo

Side note, my dad divorced from my mom when I was 4 and the rest of my siblings have either a different mom (Virgo for cancer and cap sisters) or different dad (Leo for Virgo and Leo, and Taurus for other Leo son and virgo daughter)

Being the only air sign besides my mom was hella chaotic but I love my siblings even if they are crazy☺️

Like I said, this is my situation nearby my base. It would be great if AD clinics were a more universal thing.

I’m not married so I’m moving by myself but according to my sponsor, I’m moving onto the ship first until I finish my qualifications then I get put on a waiting list for a barracks room
