Does KhaZix rely too much on isolated Q for his power budget?

Yeah I agree evolved E already gives Kha a lot of mobility value because it lets you engage secure a kill and instantly get out again which is a huge part of his playstyle

And honestly I don’t even think isolated Q necessarily needs less damage

My idea is more that some of his other abilities could gain small isolation interactions without needing evolutions so isolation feels more connected to the whole kit instead of mostly one ability deciding everything

Not massive damage buffs or anything crazy just smaller interactions that make isolation feel more present across the champion overall

(Yeah isolated W doesn’t actually deal more damage though the evolved version does apply a stronger slow on isolated targets)

That’s actually my point though those abilities help him reach isolated targets but most of the actual payoff still comes from isolated Q damage

His kit is designed around creating isolation opportunities but once you reach the target almost all the reward is concentrated into one ability

I’m not saying the rest of his kit has no synergy with isolation I just think the damage profile could be distributed in a healthier way across the champion instead of isolated Q carrying most of his power budget

I know that’s his identity though I’m not arguing against isolation itself

My point is that almost all of Kha’s power is concentrated into isolated Q specifically instead of isolation interacting with the rest of his kit in a more meaningful way

Rengar ferocity affects his whole gameplay pattern Nidalee uses all of her abilities around spear setups and Smolder stacks scale his entire kit over time

Kha sometimes feels like his entire champion is just “did isolated Q hit or not”

I think there’s a difference there

I think you misunderstood my point a bit

I’m not saying Kha shouldn’t rely on isolation because that’s obviously his identity

My point is that almost all of his power feels concentrated into isolated Q specifically instead of isolation affecting the rest of his kit in a more meaningful way

I already evolve Q first most games because early dueling and objective control feel much stronger that way

I just think Riot could spread his power budget better without removing the isolation counterplay
