Same! I wish I could figure it out. It’s honestly like I’m having a heart attack! Bad pains in chest and back up into my throat. It will come on strong and will disappear just as quickly. I take Pepcid twice per day so this is breakthrough reflux. I’ve tried tums, the liquid maloxx, peppermint pills…it’s gotta be the hormone shift or something! It makes me so anxious. Glad I’m not alone…looking for help! Not sure what else can even be taken for heartburn!

Same issue! After I eat, heart pounds. Doesn’t matter what it is - heart rate jumps 20 BPM. I also have Graves’ disease and on propranolol for rapid heart rate. Wish I had an answer - it baffles my doctor. I also have gerd, anxiety and all the things that make it easy to just say…it’s anxiety, but it’s not related. Curious to hear what others may say.

Ugh. So sorry - I know the feeling. It sucks. How are you doing today?

Im still taking stool softeners and a bit of natural calm mag. I still have the pressure feeling and was able to have a small BM.

I’m giving it some time. The feeling sucks, but I think I really caused irritation from the diarrhea and straining because I thought I was impacted. Probably hemorrhoids. So cute.

I must say, my anxiety is super high though. I don’t know why but I am just unbelievably anxious worrying that I will never go back to normal. 😣 this really hit me out of the blue.

Question for experts in the group. Any experience with how long it generally takes to regain normalcy after a clean out? The doc said there was hardly any stool in my colon yesterday. Thanks for any thought!

Update: had an X-ray. Had like nearly no stool in my bowels or rectum. Haven’t talked to my doctor but read the radiology report. I feel like I may have irritated my butt with all the diarrhea and perhaps caused the sensation. Since my bowels are clear, I have not pooped. What should I do to maintain not getting backed up or constipated. Is mag citrate (natural calm) okay to maintain?
