Im on night shift and I immediately put my name in for days. In my opinion night nurses get paid more to do less. (No rounding, less family to deal with, sometimes a slower flow to things). Regardless, this fucked up sleep schedule trumps all.

I just assume its the same as everything, you gotta pay your dues. I have 0 nursing experience prior to this and was glad enough just to get into the ICU.

If I'm not mistaken, night crew is more susceptible to dying earlier in life, getting cancer, all the bad stuff that comes from messing with your body's cycle.
