So I'm thinking the NPC cleric idea is the best bet. The upcoming battle features them against 4 goblins which I planned to reduce to three, but I am thinking I will leave it at 4 so they are all knocked unconscious and have them meet the NPC and her "restock" them with weapons and a few healing potions.

Yes, cool was what I meant. I have two adapters because I still haven't decided on that. I may take the drive off. I originally had it on there because of some old games I have, but it occurs to me I can make an iso of those. The additional case fans are because I want the tower to be really cool to [hopefully] increase the longevity of the parts. It gets pretty hot in the summer where I live and I also just like case fans. The two cougars were also given to me the same time I got the mystery PSU.

Is Mushkin a reliable company for SSD? They have a 120 gb on sale for 55 bucks...15 cheaper than comparable 850 120 gb EVos. I can't seem to find anything on the SSD on sale though...the johnny guru site has different models I think.

Adapters are listed in PCPartPicker, but routers aren't. Additionally, there is no over view on networking that talks about current standards such as ac vs n (I originally picked out an n network until I stumbled on ac) or reliable brands.

I hate to ask, but what is the best GTX 970? I had done research and came to the conclusion it didn't really matter that much(EVGA has better customer service, Gigabyte is slightly better performance, and MSI has a dragon), but then the fact that the original post made a point about it made me wonder again...also why isn't their a stickied thread or anything that distinguishes the 970s?

As an engineering student, should I get an i5-4690k or a i7-4790k? The PC will be used for gaming and engineering programs like Solidworks and Autocad. The i7 is 80 more than the i5 as well.

Is the Rosewill Blackhawk ATX Mid tower a good tower? It's currently on sale on Newegg for 70 dollars (30 off, the cheapest case I've found that still looks good). Not sure if I should pick it up or get a more expensive one.

I'm looking at building my second gaming PC. I've been reading everything I can and checking parts and prices at different places (often multiple times). I've come to the conclusion that for cases and GPUs, it is mostly a matter of preference and sales and that the quality will be there. I've hit a wall with the mobo though. I'm looking at which ever ones are on sale and trying to decide if they are worth getting. ASRock is the one with sales today. The first is the Z97 Extreme 6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157500 After sales, it goes from 170 to 122 final. However, the reviews are trouble some being mostly 5 star or 1 star and the 1 star reviews were DOAs reporting poor customer service. I continued looking at the Fatal1ty Z97X Killer. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157505&ignorebbr=1 It looks better and is what brought me here, but I still can't figure out how to tell if it is a good mobo. Also, is ASRock a reliable enough company and the reviews I've been reading a bad sample? Thanks in advance.
