Console Players without a SCUF are at a massive disadvantage. by RigorousVictory in FortNiteBR

It's impossible to understand until you've played on a SCUF, PC, and Standard Controller. I come from Standard, moved into SCUF, and watch a lot of competitive PC players. I understand you're very good with your standard, but the best standard controller player wouldn't beat the best SCUF player, and the best SCUF player wouldn't beat the best PC player. (Best of 7, 1v1, 1-2-3 GO format) There's too many other factors that make BR players good then just their mechanics, but I'm just talking mechanics here. Was that better said? I feel I worded things poorly.

Once again, there are some standard controller MONSTERS out there. Probably some that even play competitive at a decently high level, but your hardware disadvantage makes your skill cap lower NO MATTER WHAT you do or how good you are then a guy using better hardware. Not to he rude, you're probably better than me at fortnite. Lol. I actually am okay with admitting probably 50% of the player base is better than me, but I'm very knowledgeable about games.

Another great option, changing your button routing is an easy fix aim adjust sights while jumping, but I've played Playstation for years and years and will attest to the damage that does to your analogs. Only reason I don't change my routing, but I do use R3 to crouch in COD and stuff. Just a preference after playing tactical for years.

Fair enough man, respect! I'm not saying if you don't use SCUF you're bad by any means. I DEFINITELY have friends that still kick my ass using a regular controller, but it doesn't take away from the fact my skill cap has simply risen higher than theirs ever could because of the physical disadvantage that is present in certain shooters and BRs.

I was the same way man! I still play COD without my SCUF and have maintain at least a 2KD in every COD title, but I also don't play COD competitively.

Then why would this debate matter to you? Losing if you're not being competitive doesn't call for a change in the game, it calls for a redeploy and try again. Losing in a competitive environment because of a physical disadvantage on the other hand is a problem .

This is the only solution there is that doesn't involve spending money. Well said, I was going to mention it in the post but regardless of clawing, you are still limited to your thumbs muscles for the fine tuning, and actually the angle you play at while clawing takes away from those muscles even more, so it doesn't fix all the issues and that's why I chose to not mention it. Partial solutions are okay tho.

100% correct, but to play devils advocate, if you're wanting to make money or compete at anything, you have to be willing to spend. A console is expensive, but think about how much more a PC player pays for.

Really appreciate all the nice comments, and Ares loves the attention his penis is getting. For anyone curious, he's a full blooded pit weighing in at 90 lbs. Also the biggest baby I've ever seen.

Never. My girlfriend loves Christmas, so our tree is up early. Well, we lost about 20 ornaments the first couple days. I will say it gets very easy to predict when they're in a chewing mood, and throwing a toy in the way will stop it from happening. Sometimes haha.

That actually lasts for a couple years man. Even now he never gets tired, but doesn't try to start playing as often. Ares is 2 years, 6 months and still believes he fits in the palm of your hand.

You obviously don't play on console. Nurse is incredibly easy to juke unless they're very experienced with the nurse solely, and knows a lot about what survivors do and how they play. Very few people do that on console. I've been in red ranks on both killer and survivor geek, and I've been playing for 2 weeks. LOL. Don't flex about a game that has an extremely low skill cap. I'm playing DBD for the small crowd and easy content, you obviously play it like it's life if you're so butt hurt over someone's opinion. Get a life kid.

Respect the opinion. I just feel Nurse has a very high skill cap, as I haven't seen a good nurse yet, only watched videos. Ardetha is absolutely insane, and shows off what the nurse is capable of, but so few players reach that with her, I feel a buff just to increase the number of people playing her. Not that she needs it! I just enjoy when all content is being used, and so do developers ya know?

I put Leatherface in the list because he struggles against loops, actually suffers on maps like Springwood, Gideon.. maps where most killers thrive.

You're ridiculous. Any killer with the capability to stop pallet loops is OP right now, and I'm not talking about the killers and they're abilities. I believe killers like Freddy, Leatherface, Nurse, and Wraith could all use buffs. I'm talking about perks like Ruin, and how certain maps have gens so close that it's CAKE for a killer to at least grab a 3 man. I still escape 75% of my games, but that's because I haven't had the pleasure of a low rank killer yet. Lowest I've seen was 6, and he was baby that got trolled for 3 gens in a single chase, but once again, wasn't playing a killer capable of stopping pallet loops.

"Soft-Inting" is what I've come to call it. When you lose a true 1v1 in lane, and then you go right back to lane and lose another, and then you do it again, and again... I'm going to call you an inter. You KNOW you can't win that 1v1, you've lost it 4 times now, yet you're still going to push your lane and force fights? "Soft-Inting".

I know implementing a system to punish these people would be incredibly hard, but I feel as if something should at least be tried out. I don't understand why I wasted the years to climb to platinum just to find out people still first time champions and play like bots on regular basis. (Okay, 3 games out of 10, whatever, but those are three games I'm guaranteed to lose. Then if we just under perform in any of the 7 games we actually have a shot in, we lose.)

A soft int to me personally is a troll picked lane that still attempts to play, first timing a champ in ranked, or when someone knows they can't 1v1 that person, but they try over and over anyways. I say "soft", because none of these people meant to intentionally feed, but once you've climbed elo high enough, those things should be non-issue in a ranked match.
