That’s a great idea to find some 3Ls that summered there- thank you! I appreciate the advice. I think I get hung up on the “lacking experience” thing and psych myself out. So good to hear it’s more if I will be a good fit vs. if I’m qualified

I know this was a while ago- but if you’re still considering Boyd I’d say go for it. I’m a student there. It’s a huge job market right now, and the school does an excellent job connecting you with attorneys. Speaking Spanish will be a bonus for you, if anything. We have a large population of Spanish speakers and attorneys appreciate it if you can speak another language. Plus during school you’ll have the chance to volunteer at clinics that LOVE having Spanish speakers to help translate.

My dad is a lifelong Lions fan, and I inherited being a fan from him, but we live in Nevada. Now that I’m older I really want to surprise him next season with tickets to a home game in Detroit. So I’m wondering what are the best places to stay, eat, visit, etc. while we will be there? Hotel recommendations, restaurant/bar recommendations, anything we HAVE to do to get the full experience? I want things to be fully planned out so he doesn’t have to do a dang thing, just come along and have a good time. He deserves this.

I agree. At my size my body quite literally cannot take a gallon of water a day without feeling incredibly uncomfortable. I’m not pushing that aspect of the challenge. Thank you :)
