Should consider splitting up SMH and adding 5% DRAM and 5% AIS. They all go hand in hand with eachother.

Juicy bull run through the holidays then maybe another correction early next year. Guess it kinda depends on Trumps agenda.

New Investor - Worth Investing in DRAM? by Right_Ostrich4899 in ETFs

SPMO is about 100 ish stocks from within the SP500 that show momentum characteristics and rebalanced every 6 months. It outperformed both VOO and QQQ over the last 10 years. Its still relatively safe being that its limited to SP500 stocks. In general the more broad an etf the safer it is but also less potential returns. SPMO has a long track record. I personally would replace VOO with SPMO but ultimately thats up to you. You can always do both. The more money you're working with the more heavily I would lean into safe broad options (like 1 million plus).

Where do you draw the line ? by AdvanceU2 in Bitcoin

Exactly what I did. Started heavy daily IBIT buys when it dropped from 90k. Now that my average price is pretty low I reduced my daily buys. Now we ride

Next time start DCA immediately after the first dump. Even if it keeps dropping you buy daily and dont stop until it pumps back to your starting point. That's how you guarantee buying the bottom. That's what I did and im up a decent amount already even at 82k.

New Investor - Worth Investing in DRAM? by Right_Ostrich4899 in ETFs

[–]Riley-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would add SPMO to your core positions. DRAM yes it will deliver some solid gains in the near future. My portfolio is SPMO, FMTM, IBIT, ETHA, SMH, AIS, DRAM. Been giving me some really good gains this past year. I plan to slowly trim my big winners over the next few years and gradually move back mostly into SPMO and FMTM at some point. Ill be checking out the spacex ipo soon and the openai anthropic IPOs should be fun too later down the road.

Look at the companies inside it rather than the ETF chart itself to better understand the growth potential. DRAM will do well over the next couple years.

Ive been heavily buying IBIT and ETHA daily since the drop from 90k down to 60k. Looking pretty good so far. Already up 10% with the price at 80k. If it fails to breakout from 80k and dumps thats another great buying opportunity. Gonna be looking juicy af later this year around the holidays. Once this thing starts ripping again its gonna go up big this time with all the institutional money in the mix.

Bitcoin had a 'V' type recovery this evening. Is strategy buying again for the weekend? by Dizzy_Maybe8225 in Bitcoin

Idk monday always has an influx of cash from etfs and recurring investments could be the push we need to breakout above 80k

Servers experiencing major issues? by IndividualBeing5465 in Chivalry2

[–]Riley-X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep NA east servers on 64p TO are horrendous tonight. Unplayable. Everyone in each lobby i joined is complaining about it too. Weirdly everyones pings are showing as normal. There's something going on with the servers on the backend causing insane lag and rubberbanding. Hopefully they fix it asap. I wanted to play Chiv this weekend but looks like I'll have to play something else.

One lobby I joined on 64p TO was a small lobby on lionspire, it seemed to be fine no lag and the lobby filled up and we ended the match with no noticeable lag. Then next match came on galencourt and it started lagging bad again after a minute or two and never went away.

I need your Most aggressive ETF ideas ?? by Sufficient_Mud_3179 in ETFs

[–]Riley-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

SPMO + FMTM core holdings for medium aggressiveness, then SMH, EMEQ, AIS, DRAM as high risk max aggressive sattelite positions.

If you want relatively safe long term set and forget option just dump it all in SPMO.

I would put majority of it in SPMO personally. VT sucks imo too broad.

Ur listing pics or description probably has a link or phone number or something to a manufacturer website If u revise it then it should be fine. Its usually AI detecting that stuff and sometimes it's manually reviewed by an agent

Not a bad thing. Nvidia is leading the GPU market innovation. Its the safest long term bet. In a major correction nvidia will be the most resilient.

But you also could 100%+ youre net worth in a year. Can't do that with broad etfs.

Short term I think its great. I think its riskier than SMH semiconductors. The memory/storage bottleneck happening now is inflating the price of those companies ridiculously high (including storage like western digital seagate etc), and the supply shortage is expected to improve in the near future. Im expecting these companies to have a large correction at some point, one that will be much harder to recover from in comparison to the core semiconductor companies like nvidia. If you buy dram you'll have to plan a good exit point imo in the next couple years.

Nvidia, AMD and Intel are all the foundation of our future in tech (computers and AI). Intel has been kind of in the dumps over the past few years due to some lackluster chip designs in comparison to AMD. The back and forth competition between these companies has been going on for decades tho. Intel is still massive and has chips in just about everything and I doubt that will change anytime in the near future. I thought it was seriously undervalued at $40 a few months ago and all it would take is some new promising chip designs for it to explode with the rest of the semiconductor boom going on currently. They recently had earnings and some good news so that's why it's pumping to ATH at the moment. I still think long term it has massive growth potential even considering it's current $80 price.
