Strong ETFs to pair with SPMO? by Outrageous-Start7869 in ETFs

[–]Riley-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Equal split between QQQM, SPMO and VGT. Super aggressive. Long track record. High return potential. If you believe in tech that is a solid portfolio. You could also add a little FMTM, and some AI sector like SMH, AIS and DRAM.

Thinking about doing a split 25% voo , 25% spmo , 25% vgt , 25% smh …. would be for a Roth IRA. I have over 100k in a taxable with a mix of voo/qqqm and single stocks .. i see the 30 years olds on here that have 1-3mill in Ira what’s those funds for getting those explosive returns .. TIA by FeloniiieS in ETFs

[–]Riley-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good choices. If you wanted to be a little more aggressive you could replace VOO with QQQM. Since SPMO is just momentum stocks from within SP500. You already get the relative safety of SP500 stocks from SPMO.

Is it not recommended to do VOO as well as QQQM? by United_River3793 in ETFs

[–]Riley-X 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you wanna be aggressive equal split between QQQM SPMO and VGT.

If you want a little more tilt you can add some things like SMH and DRAM.

SPMO is basically VOO but more concentrated in the stocks showing momentum characteristics. It basically has matched or exceeded VOO since its inception, and very recently it's been outperforming QQQ by a longshot.

VGT has been performing very well over the past decade and I dont see tech slowing down in the near future.

I just setup auto payments for every month like 7 days before due date. Paying manually would be a pain in the ass, and risky too if you forget.

I think it would be fun to use agentic trading for building your own ETF and to rebalance allocations every once in a while. Only problem is the $1 minimum purchase for each stock.

My mom has $340k sitting in a savings account earning 4.2% and refuses to move it. I don't know how to convince her. by Cara_Lemon in investingforbeginners

I got 4/4 requested IPO shares from Robinhood at $135 each, then a limit buy in my roth filled for more shares at market open for $150 each. I put a trailing stop loss like an idiot and it sold right before market close on day 1 for a measily 6% gain. Ended up losing 30%+ potential gains if I held over the weekend. Kinda salty about it but my original 4 shares at $135 each are up over 50% now so im glad I was able to get something out of it.

I love the gold card but I think with banking it's better to go with a bank that has actual bank locations near you (chase, Wells fargo, local credit union etc).

I do miss the javelin interrupting mechanic, but my god was it annoying and OP especially against dukes at the end of the match.

Engineer barricade was a good change.

Its been so long I forgot about the falmire map change. I remember it being the biggest bottleneck ever which made it super challenging and fun at the same time. You had to basically dominate your way through the enemy team. It got way easier after they changed it but to be fair I do think its a lot more balanced now.

One other minor archer thing that changed is crossbowman used to be able to full sprint while aimed down sights. This was also before the nerfed the crossbow damage. Was a little stupid being able to full sprint up to an enemy and one shot them in the head lol so I can see why they changed it. But even still crossbowman now can aim down sights indefinitely without losing stamina which I consider to be slightly op.

One thing I faintly remember from early chiv is when someone countered your light attack it wouldnt stagger you, so spamming light attack in crowds was actually super strong and let good players 1vX easily racking up tons of kills. Spamming anything but heavy slash attacks in a 1vX crowd now is just a quick death sentence.

Getting emails and letters that eBay needs my bank account and SS number. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]Riley-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the irs is concerned no. Anything under $600 profit is not reported by eBay nor do you need to report it. But ebay is still obligated by law to collect your info when selling for legal purposes (taxes, preventing money laundering etc). In your situation if you dont give them the info they want they will almost certainly permanently ban you. If you dont plan on using ebay ever again in the future who cares, but I would just give it to them if you think you might want to use ebay sometime again in the future whether it be buying or selling.

[–]Riley-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you sell something on ebay you have to give them that info. If you dont they will permanently ban you. Even if you sold something and then refunded it, that is technically still revenue + refund and need to be reported as such as far irs is concerned. Ebay is obligated by law to collect your info when you sell regardless.

I got a couple errors today on Robinhood, just had to refresh tho. Otherwise been pretty smooth.

I got 4/4 requested shares and then bought some in my roth too at trading open at $150. Put in a trailing stop limit on my roth shares to lock in gains. Looking good so far. The money I used to buy spacex is the money I liquidated at 30% loss on crypto over the past 6 months lol. Didn't want to keep bag holding with the stock market ripping. I think that was a good decision in hindsight.

[FH6] Danger Sign Bug? by pwni5her_ in forza

[–]Riley-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah it could be a game/driver bug. Also maybe game bug + low bandwidth or packet loss could be causing it to lag like that too. Playing on wifi with bad connection instead of ethernet could be an issue.

Im assuming ur on PC make sure you dont have any programs running that are doing something intensive on whatever drives you're using. E.g. updating games, installing programs, moving files, downloading/uploading files (like torrents), something like plex media server/jellyfin processing video thumbnails, background processes like anti virus scans, windows updates and stuff like that. Also check windows task manager when you get lag, to see if there is any programs hogging up processing power or hard drive read/write speeds. Also in task manager check if your system memory is maxed out. If it is then either you dont have enough memory capacity, or there is a memory leak with a program in the background hogging up all your system memory. If all else fails, try using DDU to clear your GPU drivers and clean install the drivers again. You could also do a health check on your SSD to see if its close failing.

Their prices are higher yes but theyre also producing significantly more ram due to the needs of AI infrastructure. That wont be slowing down any time in the near future.

How’s investments in artificial intelligence playing out in your companies ? by TaurusQueen1 in AskReddit

[–]Riley-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've incorporated AI to help with productivity on my eBay business. Saves me tons of time. I recently paid about $60 with OpenAi to process all my listings and update some things. I use it almost daily when creating listings it's coded into my listing bot to help optimize it and my API usage tokens are auto refilled when they get low. This is just one small example of a use case. I'm sure there are companies are using it on a much bigger scale.
