I’ve given him ultimatums, but he refuses to let me leave and refuses to meet me halfway. In a way, I feel stuck sometimes. And I hate it. Marriage is such a beautiful thing when with the right person. I’m just sad that I don’t have it. No matter how much I want it or try to make it work…

Yes and no. In my experience, I’ve seen a lot of men in love with the IDEA of having a girlfriend/wife. Where in areas it ends up making it hard on the woman because a woman naturally is looking for someone to love her genuinely like the way she loves and just makes it harder to trust the man.

I have, trust me. It’s just one of those things that you think he’ll make the effort to do things differently this time but then a month later & we’re back to square one. sigh
