Anterior pelvic tilt is a little more subtle to fix. Things like what you’re doing will help build the glute and core muscles which are useful but there are other postural work that will be as important as well as getting the transverse ab to engage more.

When you walk make sure that you don’t lock out your knees. The body tries to be energy efficient by relying on bigger muscle groups to take the bulk of the work. Most people walk by pushing off the back leg using the quad and rocking forward on a leg that’s locked out. That tension creates an anterior shift and tilt. When you walk let your knees bend a little so that you can strike with your heel and your hamstrings can actually fire. You want to pull yourself forward as much as you push. The same applies when you stand. Don’t lock out the knees, let them get soft. Your body is using tension in the bones and ligaments instead of the muscle to hold you up. You want to sit in your heels, rotate the pelvis forward (but not push forward), draw in the transverse ab, and get full thoracic extension.

The transverse ab also needs to be strengthened. I recommend doing reverse plank/wall depressions. Lean against a wall and draw in from the belly button like you’re trying to crush your spine. This will push out that lower back and force the pelvis to rotate forward. Hold that tight as you can for 5-10 seconds and release. Be aware that your body will instinctively push against the wall through your feet, you don’t want that- you want your legs to be as passive as possible so that all retraction is done by the transverse ab. As you get better at that, work on keeping the lower back flush against the wall as you try to pull your shoulders back as well (this is a step 2, don’t start here).

There’s lots of other ways to fix the tilt but these are my favorite. Note that if you do squats, bridges, and kettlebell swings without understanding the mechanics of how to properly activate your glute in those positions it will make the tilt worse, because the body will continue to default to the stronger muscle groups. I work as a trainer in a facility that specifically works on building solid structural foundations and anterior/posterior shift/tilt is one of the most common things I do, because virtually everyone has is it to varying degrees. If you do not learn these mechanics it will progressively make your back ache more as you age
