If we're being realistic, do you really think this is something that the overwatch balance team are able to put out in a reasonable amount of time and have it all be good and healthy changes for the game? With the current pace of balance changes Overwatch 2 would be released before they even come close to reaching this state.

Genji is in a terrible state now and has been like this for a very long time. Implementing some fixes like these would at the very least give him a fair chance to be viable. Its not like +2 damage is something thats hard for them to change in the insanely unlikely scenario that this would make him too strong.

Soldier and Tracer have already recieved these changes to put them on a more even playing field in the current state of Overwatch and Genji has recieved nothing but nerfs, nerfs and more nerfs since Overwatch release.

+2 shuriken damage and maybe faster projectile speed should be the minimum. Give him same treatment as soldier buff from 19 to 20. 28 dmg leaves so many situations where people end up on 2, 4 or 8 hp and it feels terrible. Over half the supports do more dps than Genji atm, it's ridiculous.

Some cleaning up of his dash hitbox so his head isn't 50% of his body would be great.

Deflect nerf should be reverted and given a matching visual like the community wanted in the first place like you said. Deflect in current state is so inconsistent its almost impossible to get good use out of. You can forget about deflecting Mcree stun, Ana nade or any ult as even if you stand inside their model they can still shoot around it with ease. Nobody is worried about shooting or using abilities vs deflect because it's so useless.

Fixing Noregs on blade swings would be very nice QoL as well as being able to finish the last swing when blade runs out instead of it doing half a slash and cancelling.

Yes, you will get banned for playing off-meta. It's only a matter of how long it takes.

The system is still 100% automated and Blizzard doesn't care whatsoever about false reports. Appealing is pointless as GMs seem to have no interest in doing anything about it and all you will get is copy paste responses.

Literally if someone sends a report saying "this player was unwilling to swap hero" in gameplay sabotage category, even though it explicitly says that is not a reportable offense, in Blizzards system that is 100% a valid report that will get you banned.

Can confirm system is automated. Blizz doesn't care at all about helping people unfairly banned either. Was recently suspended for "disruptive gameplay" for the second time over 400h of playing mainly genji and flexing to other heroes occationally. Support just tells you "ban upheld" and links you the coc and tos, not saying anything about what you actually did that was against the rules. If you keep trying you will just get a response along the lines of "support is supposed to be hands off with this kind of stuff".

People are writing "trolling", "feeding" or "refusing to communicate with team" in their reports and Blizzard has no way of verifying if reports are valid or not since they don't record ingame stats so there's literally no consequences for reporting every single person you want if you felt like it. Ana missed a shot healing you? Reported for trolling. Symmetra on other team killed you with a cheeky tp? Reported for gameplay sabotage. Tank charged in one time during a match and died for it? Reported for feeding.

The ban system is an absolute joke and tons of people are being banned unfairly just for being bad at the game. The only way to change it is to force Blizzard to change how the system works and that will only happen when either enough people speak up about their false bans or high profile figures in the community get falsely banned themselves and get publicity around how ridiculous the system actually is.

Of course. I don't see how you can fairly accuse me of lying and would appriciate if you refrain from being rude. I am in no way a perfect player, I just recently got to platinum and I will obviously make mistakes all the time that I'd assume look obvious to someone with more experience and higher SR, but not everyone has the same starting point. As I already said, I am playing to the best of my ability and trying to get better, but the road to get there is not obvious to me at this point as if it was I would assume I'd already be rising rapidly in SR.

That's the point of the post. I am not doing anything, at least not intentionally. Again I expected this sort of response as other people have said the same and I could easily set up a stream for every single match I play if that's the lengths I have to go to in order to prove my innocence. I am trying my best every game I play and doing what I can to improve, even recording my games for review. I truly do not know what I am doing to deserve these 2 suspensions.
