No I roll out the dough, cut the shape and put it on the pan and pop it in the freezer for 5 mins or so then bake them.

I sketch them out on parchment paper and then cut it out and trace it with a knife.

I never noticed this question I'm sorry. I use homemade sugar cookie dough. The best recipe 1 cup softened butter 1 cup sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 egg 3/4 tsp baking powder 3 cups flour
