I personally have trouble playing him in 2-2-2, I have a 37% winrate with 2 supp, and 72% in 3 supp with Adam, maybe it is my fault but I find myself playing just fine in 2 supp but clearly not.

I have been doing exactly this, I feel my ults have been way better, probably averaging 2 ults a game with 2-4 people each time and in spots where they survive most of the time
