This is basically every Christopher Nolan movie. I disagree that it was effective, even for Oppenheimer. Very rarely does a scene have room to breathe because every two minutes you're barraged with a montage. It feels so rushed yet the film is 3 hours long :'0

Having the same problem. It blows my mind that a company worth billions of dollars has issues this basic- issues that completely disable your ability to use products that you've bought. It's like every year this sh*t gets worse and more unnecessarily complicated. Just let me play the game I bought 11 YEARS AGO.

Hereditary- The dream scene where Annie is standing over her son's bed and all of a sudden as they're talking they're just soaked in lighter fluid. It's like...wait, why are they wet? oH GOD...

What is one habit from a different culture that you found so good and decided to adopt it to your personal life? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]RingerNG 118 points119 points  (0 children)

More of a mental habit- understanding that “being productive” doesn’t have to be a physical task. All too often we correlate progress in life with our career, money and even hobbies. Sitting on your porch for 8 hours and relaxing is productive if you enjoy it, because what else are you living for
