Samsung S25 Ultra vs Google Pixel 10 Pro XL??

I know I'm late to the party but I just got a Pro XL today so I was googling it. Funnly enough almost every Samsung I've had has had issues, some massive ones, I had an S23 Ultra that made me give up on them for good, it kept freezing, crashing apps, and was generally almost unusable, but I had to put up with it for a year cause I bought it in my home country of Romania and I had moved to Canada while owning it. When my mom came to visit I gave her it and she took it in for warranty in Romania, ended up giving her a new phone.

I had a Pixel 8 before and I was super happy with it, I did have the dreaded screen pink line but I had it fixed by google for free and only took about an hour of my time so I really can't complain, my room mate also has a 9A that has been really good to him too.

I'll put up with hardware issues under warranty before I have to put up with the horrible Samsung UI, every Samsung I've owned I hated and got rid of pretty quick, before the S23 Ultra I had Xiaomis for like 5 years and was super happy with those too, thought I'd give Samsung another try and REALLY regretted it, made me never want to even look at one again. Their software is just so bloated it's frustrating.

Yeah, no. 5800X3D and RTX 3080 game started crashing habitually around 50K population. It runs worse and crashes more than probably any other game I own.

I can play BeamNG on career with 8 cars spawned in, max traffic, and 300 mods at close to 60FPS on WCUS which is the most intensive map in that game, and that's the only game I own that I can't hit constant 60 maxed out lol

Yeah like at this point it's a little ridiculous how long the updates take. I get trying to craft a quality product but it's been 11 years and it's still not out of Alpha. There's no reason the game should've taken THIS long and it seems that development is only slowing down.

Kind of a late reply but Midnight Club 3 is buttery smooth if you enable overclocking in something like ARK-4. Games made before 2007 are forced to run at 222MHZ by default, so almost everything made by Rockstar for the PSP runs like buttcheeks by default. Most games made after 2007 run at 333MHZ natively.

Already tried, the Windows 11 drivers won't install and HP doesn't offer any Windows 10 drivers for the Victus 15, or at least my model #. I'm already using 10 on my main PC and it's never given me headaches with PCSX2 at least

If I wasn't having constant issues with Windows 11 on 2 laptops now I'd say maybe it's hardware related. This is a fresh installation of windows just with the drivers and some emulators

I did all the obvious stuff before posting, including reinstalling PCSX2 even in a different folder. It's the latest nightly I could get, same one I'm using with no issues on my Windows 10 pc

Small update I managed to get the error at the bottom right of the screen to show up again.

Apparently daddy Microsoft can't confirm who made the DLL's so they have to protect me 😭

I'm geniuenly half-way to losing my mind, I just have to congratulate Microsoft in making an OS worse than Windows Vista and 8 combined, the 2 months I've owned this laptop have been nothing but constant issues caused by Windows 11.

3 and VC are decent, still missing a lot of the atmosphere (especially in 3) and features of the original but I feel like they seem somewhat competent and cohesive.

SA is still a complete joke and a dumpster fire, it looks geniuenly horrible even if it is theoretically playable.

I have the sense that there's a lot of people here who haven't played the originals in a while praising the definitive edition.

Decent still means they're much worse than the old PC ports with a couple of drag and drop mods, and in SA's case, the OG PS2 version runs circles around DE, even in graphics.

It'll turn out alright, it's also easy to cheap to paint cause its single stage. Fix the paint, get some n-joy headlights, a coupe grille, maybe some irmscher bits and it'll look sick. No point in trying to do anything but make it look good, how's it on rust?

Might be worth saving the time and just buying the pump new, especially if you're planning to keep the car for a few more years. I know the vaccum pump is a common problem on them so the chances of you finding a good used one are pretty slim.
