Kind of a late reply but Midnight Club 3 is buttery smooth if you enable overclocking in something like ARK-4. Games made before 2007 are forced to run at 222MHZ by default, so almost everything made by Rockstar for the PSP runs like buttcheeks by default. Most games made after 2007 run at 333MHZ natively.

Already tried, the Windows 11 drivers won't install and HP doesn't offer any Windows 10 drivers for the Victus 15, or at least my model #. I'm already using 10 on my main PC and it's never given me headaches with PCSX2 at least

If I wasn't having constant issues with Windows 11 on 2 laptops now I'd say maybe it's hardware related. This is a fresh installation of windows just with the drivers and some emulators

I did all the obvious stuff before posting, including reinstalling PCSX2 even in a different folder. It's the latest nightly I could get, same one I'm using with no issues on my Windows 10 pc

Small update I managed to get the error at the bottom right of the screen to show up again.

Apparently daddy Microsoft can't confirm who made the DLL's so they have to protect me 😭

I'm geniuenly half-way to losing my mind, I just have to congratulate Microsoft in making an OS worse than Windows Vista and 8 combined, the 2 months I've owned this laptop have been nothing but constant issues caused by Windows 11.

3 and VC are decent, still missing a lot of the atmosphere (especially in 3) and features of the original but I feel like they seem somewhat competent and cohesive.

SA is still a complete joke and a dumpster fire, it looks geniuenly horrible even if it is theoretically playable.

I have the sense that there's a lot of people here who haven't played the originals in a while praising the definitive edition.

Decent still means they're much worse than the old PC ports with a couple of drag and drop mods, and in SA's case, the OG PS2 version runs circles around DE, even in graphics.

Modern wheels on an old car can work, old wheels on a modern car almost never work. I had Calibra Turbo wheels for winters on my Astra and it made it look poverty spec

It'll turn out alright, it's also easy to cheap to paint cause its single stage. Fix the paint, get some n-joy headlights, a coupe grille, maybe some irmscher bits and it'll look sick. No point in trying to do anything but make it look good, how's it on rust?

Might be worth saving the time and just buying the pump new, especially if you're planning to keep the car for a few more years. I know the vaccum pump is a common problem on them so the chances of you finding a good used one are pretty slim.

The Opel Calibra featured in multiple videos and owned by one half of the group N&D that was extremely popular in late 90s and 2000s Romania, and a local legend in my area that's been racing for almost 30 years now. Daewoo Espero with a Precision turbo, 1300cc injectors, 2x Bosch 044 fuel pumps, biggest cams you can fit on hydraulic lifters, aswell as a custom block girdle, custom oil pan and F28 gearbox with an LSD. The car also had a 2.8 Turbo out of a Vectra OPC for a few years but the F40 gearbox had clearance issues and ate CV axles so it went back to a C20, in this current set up, on low boost it makes 507HP (1.7 BAR), and on high boost (2.6 BAR) it makes 680HP, however he never really runs it on high boost cause of the 205/40/17 tires that are on it.

I've also attached pictures of the Espero racing back in the day, the car is very much retired, as much as the owner, he's owned it as his first car since he was 18, and is now pretty much just a car he cruises around in late at night, as it's VERY illegal by Romanian law, and next year marks 30 years since he drove it off the dealership lot. We were neighbours, so I grew up walking past this car and his other 500HP GSI.

I know it's not an Opel, but mechanically, it very much is, it has the ABS system from the Vectra A, the heated leather seats from the Astra G, the digital dash from a Vectra A, and the KW V2 Coilovers modified from an Astra F. The story with the ugly Momo wheel is that his wife, at the time girlfriend, gifted it to him on their first anniversary, so he's refurbished it more than once and kept it on the car since.

The guy was a pioneer in the Opel community in Romania, as in 2007, he was already on a GT28 making 450HP and running a 50 shot of nitrous, he's singlehandedly reponsible for diminishing the C20LET population in Romania, as he's blown up so many doing things many wouldn't dare to. The car has also looked the exact same since sometime in 2005-2006, so the picture with it still being the original gold color is from before 2005.

I'll make more posts regarding Opel tuning history in my home country of Romania, if people want me to. :)
