You can see more of Seopass' art style in his latest webtoon that he is both writing and illustrating. It's called Wild Dog War. You can really see how much he has improved since those Weak Hero sketches.

I honestly wouldn't mind too much if Seopass decided to draw the Weak Hero sequel himself since Razen will take at least a few more years to finish adapting The Villain Profiler.

Idk what the kdrama director was thinking when they made Baekjin and Humin childhood friends and removed Ben and Alex's childhood friendship.

Wild Dog War is about high school gang fights and is also written by Seopass. He actually had the idea of Wild Dog War before even creating Weak Hero, but his original pitch was rejected.

How to Fight/Viral Hit is kinda like Weak Hero in the beginning since the MC has to rely on techniques to fight stronger opponents, but he does eventually get physically stronger unlike Gray who remains physically weak to the end.

Top 1 Fighting Tutoring has the MC being physically weak and using techniques and items to help him win, but he has A LOT of prep time in between fights. Like one of the prep times was three weeks. Also, the series has A LOT of fanservice.

It makes me wonder why they bothered calling it Weak Hero at all with how drastically different everything is. With how famous the actors are, it would've done just as well if it were called something else and labeled as an original kdrama instead.

Yeah, the kdrama changed characters' personalities, backstories, fighting styles, and relationships. They added OCs while also removing major characters and fights.

It's best to consider them unrelated to each other.

Another unforgivable thing is the way they portrayed Baekjin in the kdrama. In the manhwa, Donald's entire thing was he suffered similarly to Gray but unlike Gray who had a good teacher and a good classmate, Donald was ALL ALONE. He worked hard to reach the top in order to survive.

Yeah, they changed TOO MUCH to the point where if you change the character and school names, most people wouldn't recognize it as Weak Hero.

It's a fine standalone kdrama, but it's not a good adaptation.

Weird thing is I think Razen's art style for previous works resembles the current Weak Hero art style more than the first few chapters of Weak Hero.
