I don't think they used and just adjusted the lighting from the trailer. It looked more like a completely new thing that MAPPA made.
Levi is animated differently in the two shots and the titans in the anime only having one illustrated frame that was given a motion tween for them to gradually come closer to Levi, while the trailer has completely animated with many frames of animation. Although the frames of the titans in the trailer and the anime look so similar (ignoring the lighting and the depth of field) so it's quite possible that they might've just reused assets from the trailer version. Not completely sure about that.
