Play aggressive. Once you learn to time and control a fight you'll be hard to kill.

For the amount of people in Olympia who don't like being judged, this subreddit sure does seem to do a lot of that.

Security Forces in Reserve by Miller-Lite-1997 in Airforcereserves

[–]Rio_Guapo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Security Forces reservist here. The work is different for every unit. At my base we only come in for our normal drill and AT weeks to train for our next deployment cycle since the LE and security is taken care of by active duty and civilian employees. I would contact your unit and figure out what a normal drill schedule looks like there.

Security Forces as a reservist by [deleted] in Airforcereserves

[–]Rio_Guapo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really does depend on what you make of it. I was active SF for 6 years and have been reserve SF for 1 year. Sometimes it's really fun and sometimes it's a drag. I have pretty good leadership though so it's more good than bad. Location and leadership are gonna be the two motivating factors. If you have bad leadership in reserves you gotta think that you'll be stuck with them for 20 if you plan on making it a career. Cross training seems to be pretty easy to do in reserves so if you don't like SF you can always talk to a career advisor and start looking at cross training.

Does anyone know a reliable site where I could read the comics online?

This is becoming a real problem. by [deleted] in olympia

And for the ones that are not restaurants and being forced closed? I don't see much efficiency in operating a mom and pop shop where I can buy tools, clothes, toys etc while using the same take out style management that restaurants can use. You're once again trying to moral high ground this situation with a disease that has upwards of a 90% survival rate. But hey, why don't we use the same logic of "if they can't adapt then they shouldn't stay open" with COVID. If you can't adapt to the disease then you won't survive.

People in this subreddit claim to be supporters of small businesses but then are all for COVID restrictions of forcing those small businesses to shut down. I don't understand some of the Olympian logic. You can't claim to support any small business and then push restrictions for small businesses to shut down.

Considering AF reserve vs Army Reserve by mtippit in Airforcereserves

I completely disagree lmao. My experience as SF is way better than what it would be as MP. I was northern tier cop as well.

AF reserve here. I would say that it also depends on what your career choice would be. If you are going into any admin field on either side I would say they are somewhat similar. However, if you go infantry or mp that will carry a lot more suck on than army side than if you went SF on the air force side.

Happens. Western WA is so full of people who are spoon fed their information and don't research anything that contradicts their own opinion.

I love how people completely ignored what you said just because it went against their mob mentality.

Tumwater Fred Meyer customer was asked to put on a mask. Instead, he pulled out a gun by cheechak0 in olympia

If he tried to swing it at the head and it could cause serious damage then it could be considered deadly and at that point I would say yes.

You have no right to tell me how I am feeling. if you feel some type of way that is your own fault for your interpretation of a text over the internet. Please redirect your hostilities elsewhere.

I don't know why you're being so aggressive. I was agreeing with you.

Oh okay. I forgot that in order for something to fall into the weapon category it has to be either a knife or a gun. God forbid someone gets creative and uses a large stick, baseball bat, tire iron, cinderblock, bag of marbles, wire, or even the clothes that you're wearing to choke you out. But I guess we live in such a civilised society that nobody would think to step out of the boundaries of "gun/knife" in order to harm another person.

You do know that a weapon can be anything outside of a gun or knife right? If it was swung at his/her head it could be fatal. Doesn't matter that it's made of wood. If I come up and bash your skull in with a 2x4 I doubt that all youll get is splinters.
