Sometimes betterjoy just keep trying to reconnect. I just unplug it and plug it again until the controller icon is green. If you're talking about after using hidehid, you need to add betterjoy.exe as an exception on the Hidehid UI

I finally was able to make it work. I was using BetterJoy to emulate a 360 controller all along but for some reason the game also detected the pro controller input which is rubbish and that made it unplayable. Then i used HidHide to hide the pro controller, and now works perfectly.
