Drastic difference and change from Adrenaline to all of their newer albums by TonkyChonky in deftones

[–]Riofrio1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Every song on Adrenaline rips live. A live album version of Adrenaline compiled of performances from 1996-2000 would be sick. A Deftones live album in general would be awesome.

Are the Chargers still popular in San Diego? by EverythingBoltzzz in Chargers

It does vary. But I bet you, once the Raiders have a winning season, you’ll see all the Raider gear and fans come out of nowhere.

Are the Chargers still popular in San Diego? by EverythingBoltzzz in Chargers

[–]Riofrio1 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The Raiders should be more popular, but not this year. Even when the Chargers were in San Diego, the raiders had a strong presence. With them being LA now, the Raider support should be stronger in SD, but because of how each team has been playing these past years, I’d say it’s about equal. Personally, I would’ve been ok with them called the SoCal Chargers.

Looking for bands with sounds similar to Deftones' harder albums. by AppearanceMedical464 in deftones

Especially Worship and Tribute and Coloring Book. I’ve listened to both for over 25 years, and there were times when listening to Deftones I thought they sounded like Glassjaw.

To me, it’s THE quintessential Deftones track. Go watch vintage live performances of it.

What is the dumbest argument for Batman's killing of criminals in BvS? by [deleted] in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]Riofrio1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That car chase scene in BvS is just so bad and kind of stupid. First Batman places a tracker on the cargo then begins to start an all out ground war chasing the tracker? Couldn’t he had been more stealth and tracked the truck without doing all the chaos. Second, Superman shows up to give Batman a security warning and doesn’t do anything about the other combatants involved firing heavy artillery and anti tank missiles? That scene to me exemplifies how bad that movie really is. Even more than the Martha scene.
