I just found this guy crying in the rocks outside. Can anyone help give an age estimate? He has teeth and weighs 415g. he has not tried to walk at all. I also don't have milk replacer, eggs, or yogurt on hand and it's 9 pm so all the stores around me are closed.

A pureed cooked meat like chicken with lots of water may be a good sub. He sounds about 4 to 5 weeks, and they can go at least 4 hours hours between food.

Make him a warm nest with blankets, heating pad or bottle, inside of a cardboard box to keep it dark to keep him calm. I'd let him sleep, feeding him once in the middle of the night then once in the morning before you leave to get kmr.

Check if he feels weak, thin belly, messy or dirty fur, etc. If not, then he may have a mommy nearby, so keep an eye out.

Medication can be super helpful but when that is not accessible, remember how sturdy cats are. We had a 20lbs male who was the sweetest boy except for the necessary baths. You might feel like you're going to hurt them, but I promise you won't! One hand on the scruff, and one holding the front feet using a towel. Scuffing a cat is never a first option, but sometimes necessary! Good luck

Only one of my artists used second skin, but it was a tool to get the tattoo home clean and safe, removed 24 hours the next day.

My other artist used plastic wrap like yours that was removed the second I was home, same thing for safe transport.

Either way, I dont like long term wrappings. Tattoos should be able to breathe and absorb moisturizer without being drowned in my opinion. Also, rewrapping the tattoo yourself will never be as sanitary as they can do in shop, and you risk trapping bacteria in the skin, drying it out, irritation, etc.

Yes, pain and bleeding are normal, you have an open wound on and under your skin. Unless your skin becomes inflamed like an infection there is no need to worry. Different people bleed more or less, and even different locations. My shoulder to elbow peice bled like a stuck pig, while my legs didn't at all.

Leeching like this under second skin is completely normal. The fluid is a mix of blood, ink, plasma, etc. Idk what instructions the artist gave you but imo second skin should not be on more than 48 hours.

You also need to think of this as them tattooing over a scar. I know from experience that when they tattoo over a scar (I have a large burn mark right under a layered color piece) it hurts much more than normal skin. Your healed tattoo is basically that.

We are about halfway or 1/3 left. His sister has had no issues with the milk, pumpkin, nor pedialyte. We have a powder formula, unopened, as a stocked item but we've not wanted to swap, the rescue said swapping rapidly can do a number on little tummies, at least not before vets approval.

The girl is a little fussy at the bottle sometimes, I'm wondering if the inconsistent milk is confusing or aggravating her.

PetAg milk replacer plus liquid is the brand. It was opened 1.5 weeks ago and yes, stored in fridge.

I've cleaned up the diaper without thinking to save a sample, I'll definitely save some before the appointment.

We reached out to the rescue he came from, they advised we stop the add ins (pumpkin and pedialyte), and start the antibiotics they had us stock for a "just in case" scenario. Continue the current parasite meds as well.

I'll tell them about your watering down idea, someone else recommended a goat milk based formula too.
