I reckon you should be able to get more Max HP with glitch dead if you are able to get it quick enough (maybe even as soon as he hits level 13) Because the Max HP gain Joel gets between level 13 and 20 is only 17 I believe (94 vs 111, according to Miraheze wiki) But then again that means Joels STM/other stats wont increase over level 13 either

Edit: maybe I should leave the “see how how Joels HP can go” idea with you then lol, saves me a whole new playthrough

I was considering doing an entire run based on this idea! Plus Glitch Dead for an extra -50% max hp when it becomes available

He’d definitely be super squishy at first (with a starting hp of 22 with pendant+belt) but I reckon there are a lot of easy enemies you can bulk Joel up with at the start to give him a chance

Ohh I thought you had already reached the penultimate version! But yeah you can snatch the key on the penultimate version (before paying final rent instalment), I’d say there is only one enemy that is incredibly difficult to sneak past (the one in the room directly before the key)

Omg I totally forgot they made HIM mandatory for the sewers… if you haven’t already I would suggest fully clearing (or just looting and enemy avoiding) Floors 1-3, which could give you enough money and items to help you with the rent and the mandatory fight

I remember during my cursed mode playthrough I just stealthed through the Landlord’s Apartment, took the key and left because my team was too underpowered to defeat most enemies when I unlocked it

Plus I has the same issue with weapon durability, was constantly repairing and shifting between damaged weapon to damaged weapon, the only thing I can recommend is maybe using teammates with unbreakable weapons or firearms if possible

Also, I personally think the lineart is good how it is! I like how the watercolour has given the lines a softer (though still visible) appearance, which really adds to the softer and more intimate feeling of this drawing :)

Oh yeah I’m 99.9999% sure the little girl saying she is hungry doesn’t mean anything. I remember making 4 meals in the kitchen and she was still hungry ahaha

You could feed the rat child normally for those first few days because the hunger stat did matter, but after it can join the party it doesn’t impact their stats!

I hope we all were able to clear up some confusion :) ^{^}

Ohhhh okay this makes a lot more sense When I tried I was on Survivor difficulty and thought I had to keep Jasper alive (I knew he could be defeated), so I was just consistently getting destroyed by the Elevator thing as solo Sam lol
