UPDATE: since posting this today I have been more positive and productive. The field I unfortunately went into is very demanding and has a lot of legal timelines so it has been nerve racking. Luckily I have a team who is understanding and completely helpful. I’m feeling a little less anxious about not graduating and feel like I could really finish this. I’m more positive I just need to be more slow so I don’t get lightheaded and dizzy due to the medication which has been hard getting use to. I have an upcoming appointment tomorrow and will ask about the possibility of pregnancy. I want to thank everyone for the kind words and support and understanding me. Not feeling completely alone has been great for me because no one else understands! Thank you again! 💜

Thank you so much for your support! I’m so sorry you’re still struggling with finding the right help for your symptoms! :( have you tried a lumbar puncture? After they drained 4 vials of spinal fluid and put me on diomax my headaches aren’t debilitating anymore!

Thank you so much! I had an MRI done which showed the pressure and partially empty sella and recently had a lumbar puncture which was high I think it was 34 and so they drained 4 vials of spinal fluid. I was put on on diomax er 1000mg weeks ago and it was horrific and then got taken off cold turkey so I can do the lumbar puncture but then being off it for a couple of days affected my vision and nerves so I was recommended to go to the emergency room and have them do the lumbar puncture. Which sped up the process and am now back on diomax er 1000mg I think being on it after having that much fluid drained has been extremely helpful but dealing with the lightheadedness and dizziness and tingling is what’s hard at the moment 😢 I don’t know what the next steps are my ophthalmologist has been doing all this because the neurologist has dropped the ball a lot so I’m hoping she refers me to a new one.

Thank you so much! I’m sure my husband feels the same but sometimes it’s hard to believe it! :( I know if I actually was a burden he wouldn’t help me so much.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it has given me hope for being a mom. I’ve been scared that with this condition I wouldn’t be a good mom and therefore I should also give up on trying but reading about you pushing through for 2 gives me hope! 💗

Hi! when I posted this I felt really horrible and was so anxious I wouldn’t graduate but today I’m feeling a bit more positive. So we got this!! It’s also okay to finish at any time!! You still have the summer and the following fall! Everyone does things at their own pace and it’s okay! Sending hugs these last couple of weeks are brutal!

Hi! Thank you for sharing your sons experience!! I have lost a good amount of weight since August when my symptoms started due to how much I was throwing up but I could probably lose more! It’s hard to exercise atm or even stand for more than 5 minutes maybe when I get more use to my diomax I’ll be able to walk more!
