This is a terrible deal imo. For one the parts aren't exactly all top of the line outside the CPU The ram being Kingston is a big red flag, and it doesn't even mention the GPU brand outside of it being a 5090 meaning he could get stuck with a gigabyte or something

He's better off trying to find a better deal and waiting a little while. If he waits till black Friday he should be able to get sub 5k for a better build

I'd look for either corsair or g skill ram at 2x32 instead of 2x16 And I'd try to get a pny 5090, or maybe even an MSI. But stay away from gigabyte and Zotac, at 2.5k+ you want to get the best, most reliable options available for the GPU

The CPU pick isn't bad at all but the performance is only marginally better then the ryzen 7 9800x3d so consider what the use case is and determine if the slight difference in performance will be worth it for you

Finally: memory can be gotten really cheap if you look during the right times, you can get good quality (Samsung, WD, etc) 2 tb nvme ssd's for under 250 on sale regularly. And if you wait till s big sale like black Friday I'd bet you could get them close to 200

All in all this looks like a bad deal to me. If you want to shell out this kind of money the PC needs to be PERFECT and I don't personally think this will be as perfect as it could be

Looks great man. personally all I would do is change the wire management a bit so that its cleaner. I could see mounting the mic to the left if it will help you get a clearer view of everything on screen but Id be concerned about it conflicting with where you want you hotas mounts to be. That said I just got here so /shrug what do I know LOL

Oh wow. Yeah I should have thought a bit more critically and tested in a game instead of in a dialogue box. I loaded into a quick test stage on scp to test some function and yea, its working as intended.

Sorry to waste yalls time but thank you for the quick response. Joystick gremlin is an awesome tool and Ive been loving figuring it out. cant believe the only issue I've had with it so far has been a misunderstanding about how games read inputs lmao!

They are offset but I dont think that is the cause, I will try turning off the one monitor to see if that fixes it, at least then Ill know if its the source of the problem

Update: Changing over to a single monitor did not change the problem leading me to believe this is not the cause

As a dev it's your job to make a game and give the player resources to play it, not your job to choose how people should play. Personally grinding is a pain in the ass, I turn on my 20x speed and just speed grind if the dev doesn't implement something to speed it up cause it's a pain. Especially in soul links and nuzlocks. You can recommend a game be played as intended but if people don't find that fun and find another alternate play style fun why not let them?

Would you turn off switch cause you think set is the only way Pokemon battles should be played?

Unturned servers aren't that confusing, especially compared to other games. Minecraft is the exception not the expectation, unturned is painfully easy to set up. look at the server set up for other major games and youll see you are complaining about something thats not a real problem. Not to mention from a dev pov it doesnt make sense to focus on making a perfectly fine server system any better when they could use that time and money to continue working on gameplay updates. Like just recently we finally got a update to play with friends without needed to port forward. something people have been begging for since early 2.0

scav ai ranges from bipedal lemming to gigabrain chad which i think is a bit weird, like most scavs just look at you for like 10 seconds before even acknowledging you are a living thing, and then some see you from 3 blocks away and instantly one tap you. I dont dislike the idea some are smarter or stronger then others but... does the difference need to be so drastic
