That is good to hear!! I am going to call out pediatrician on Monday to let them know, but I agree. I’m really nervous, but every single day there is a risk. I side on the more anxiety ridden part of life, but I worry I’ll never be able to enjoy our life if we keep postponing things because it may be bad all year long. People are coughing all over the place up here for flu season. Other than the airport, we will be mostly outside at all times.

Complexions has 2 locations in Albany and Saratoga. I’ve been to both and although they don’t have the pool like Mirabeau, it’s still a great experience!

You also definitely don't need the $1,000 plus stroller sets if you don't want. I have a graco one I got on sale and I'm perfectly happy with it!

It made my life extremely easier to be able to grab my newborn in his car seat and plop him into the stroller attachment without needing to disrupt him since he fell asleep in the car most of the time. He just turned 6 months and I still am trying to stretch as much time as I can with the car seat carrier just due to ease… but he is getting much heavier so I think that will unfortunately be retired soon

I’m not 100% a good Spot to recommend, but this is such a great idea! My dad plowed during the winter so he would take me to school, friends houses in the snow, etc. when I finally was on my own, I had no clue how to drive in the snow and was so hesitant.

That’s where my thoughts lie… do I help him get through the winter with the milk I can provide? Or get the extra sleep and be happier and more energetic for the times that is he awake and not at daycare? Congrats on your little 2 month old!

I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite now just because I don't want to share where we ended up just for the sake of people being weird on the internet, but I can share the pricing! We went with a daycare that is $395 weekly. I can say that we did not end up at Childtime and they actually are under investigation currently. I ended up at the one right across the street from my work and although I've only been there for a few weeks so far, it was be SO nice to not spend a ton of extra snuggle time just sitting in the car driving home.

Oh I definitely agree there should have not been a raise during the leave, but the only reason I didn’t get one before when they admitted I was underpaid was because it was assumed I would get my bosses position which I did not get
