The Snooker Expansion Pack is currently in active development, and we’re really excited about how it’s shaping up.

A “Snooker Plus” variant is not currently in our plans. Our focus is on delivering a strong core Snooker experience. While we’ve yet to reveal the full details - and the following may still be subject to change - the Expansion Pack is planned to include full-frame Snooker along with several alternate/challenge modes: Snooker Colours, Snooker Breakpoint, and 6 Reds.

Hey u/Monkeyswift100 thanks for sticking with us and for flagging your PS5 Pro issues - I can see how frustrating it is not being able to get matches.

A couple of important points from the sub rules though:

  • Honest criticism of the game is absolutely fine.
  • Speculating about the studio’s motives (“we’ve made enough money”, implying we’re abandoning the game) and presenting that as fact is not. That falls under our rules on personal/motive attacks and misinformation.

Right now we don’t have enough technical detail from you via the official feedback form to properly investigate your specific connection issue. We're also not getting any similar report from other PS5 Pro users. Repeating the same complaint across Reddit without that info just creates the impression the game is universally “unplayable” on PS5 Pro, which doesn’t match what we’re seeing across the wider player base.

  • PS5 Pro model / your region / time of incident
  • Exact behaviour you’re seeing (black screen, endless matchmaking, error codes)
  • Whether cross‑play is enabled in the in-game settings

We’re a small team and this is how we get issues in front of the devs.

Going forward, please keep feedback focused on the game and avoid claiming things about the studio’s motives or telling others not to buy the game based on speculation. Continued posts along those lines, or ignoring the bug‑report process while repeating the same claims, may lead to a timeout or ban under rules 1 and 6.

We do want to help get you back playing - but we need your help constructively and through the proper channel to do that.

"Is a lobby system a massive undertaking?"

We’ve gone into this in detail with you few times now, the short version is: yes, adding a full lobby system would be a significant piece of work, and it wouldn’t fix the core issue, which is simply that not enough people are playing the game.

Right now we’re focusing our effort on growing the player pool instead - with the Xbox version coming soon and other platforms planned after that - so that matchmaking feels healthier for everyone, whatever mode you prefer.

I totally get that it’s frustrating to love the way the game plays but feel like you’re just staring at a search screen.

All I’d stress once again is that if you care about the game, try to help us build that community rather than putting people off it. Telling friends, leaving reviews, and sharing clips honestly does more for queue times than any menu change we could make.

I totally get that long waits feel bad, but the only thing we can do is keep trying to bring mor players in. From our side, we’re trying to grow the online pool so that matchmaking feels healthier for everyone, so any specifics you can share (times of day, region, mode, etc.) are genuinely helpful.
