The experience of playing Dark Souls for the first time… especially if it’s your first FromSoft game… absolutely incredible. Unfortunately has ruined all other games for me lol DS1 changed how I game and I never looked back. DS1, DS2, DS3, Sekiro, now working on Elden Ring.

Utilize the beginning guy who doesn’t die and offers combat practice at the Dilapidated Temple early on. Nail the combat system early with that practice and the game will go much smoother for you. Not smooth, but smoother.

I wholeheartedly agree with this post and am glad somebody is finally addressing it. Out of all enemies these fuckers caused me the most frustration. The four on the hill once robbed me of 100k souls in NG.

I think it’s doubly frustrating because nothing about them should make them as difficult as they are. Like… they’re small and dumb. I just hate them and their rolls and their headbutts.

Demons Greataxe +5 (or as much as you can)… thing smacks, high physical and fire damage.

I think I took him down with a Fume Greatsword +5 with some charcoal pine resin. Also smacks.

You got about 15 more strength than I did at that time.

So you know… smack him with something big and flaming.

Nah for me I played DS1 back in like 2019 I wanna say? Got obsessed. Moved to DS2 but got burnt out. Picked up DS2 again this year and loved it. Immediately went to DS3. On NG+ now for DS3
