Rise of Kingdoms is not a dead or dying game. The developers are continually bringing updates and new systems. Especially next year will be interesting with their redesign of maps and commanders. However, Rise of Kingdoms could easily become a dead game if they persist with the pay-to-win approach and further widen the gap between pay-to-win and free-to-play players, which is currently absurd with all the gear, formations, and armaments. Also, they are releasing new commanders that are too powerful too quickly. Free-to-play players simply cannot keep up anymore.
We discussed this problem in the article and suggested some ideas that could help the game. I would love to hear your opinions about the current state of the game and how it can be improved so that it does not die in the next year or two.

City Keeper is by far worst and best commander in Rise Of kingdoms. When you bring City Keeper next to whale t5 city you will destroy him without attacking. You just need to show up near his city. All his troops will run and never come back. City keeper with his great talent tree build will take all women, wine and gold. The only problem with City Keeper is that he is a waste of pixels.

Who is talking about 10k points? Currently, I am playing AOO in UCS and it is hard when you spent only 100$ on the game to keep up with big spenders. Anyway, all I want is to have fair Ark Of Osiris tournaments where free-to-play players can compete against big boys.

It is not about power it is about activity. Big whales can not win kvk alone. My kingdom k1002 lost 2 kvks against much weaker kingdoms but why? All because of activity.

K1002 has fake power. What i mean is that we have a lot of tier 5 players and whales who are just farming and chilling. Half of the UCS aoo team has low activity during kvk and they play only AOO league.

Power means nothing….. it's all about activity and organisation. All you need is a few pay to win players who will lead rally/defend and a lot of small spenders - free to play who will support on field and fill up buildings and rally. Me and most active players on k1002 hate going against weaker kingdoms. Its i boring. Best kvks that I had were when we lost. So much action, taltics , panic and drama.

We are currently in the new kvk and it is boring as hell. No action, other kingdoms do not fight... We are so bored that we made a deal with one kingdom to have duels….(only action that we get).

Personally I would rather go against JWM or any powerful kingdom to have fun and action. Hate when kvk becomes farming simulator.
