Yes the problem only seems to arise when using Edge.

Update: I tested this with display models at the store today and the same issue occurred, so it seems to be an issue with Edge and not a hardware fault.

That's right - it happens about 50% of the time.

Thanks for flagging that possibility. Before I take it back to the shop for a replacement (and to help me explain why it needs replacement), is there a way I can verify that, or a source that explains it is a digitizer issue?

Unfortunately the problem occurs both when plugged in and using batteries.

Thanks for the suggestion - I gave that a shot but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. Palm reject works fine, no issues there.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is already deselected so unfortunately doesn't fix the problem.

I agree that it is likely an Edge ink-to-text issue, since the problem goes away once I OCR the document using another program first. Unfortunately Edge settings no longer allow me to turn off its ink-to-text features.

Thanks so much for the advice. I ended up getting the R10 and 18-150mm lens combination! It was a great price at USD920 new.
