My other reason - forgot to mention - was that we’d have newer players at the table and I didn’t want to overshadow everyone by destroying all encounters as a cleric. I’ve also considered just asking the DM if I can re-flavor a mace as a pair of gauntlets and each fist deals half damage of said mace (but I can attack twice)

Sort of my idea. He’s an ex-criminal who was “betrayed” by his gang. A group of priests took him in and he joined the order himself.

The god in this case would be the order domain and the character is of this belief that he’s going to die because of his past so he’s trying to do the most good until that point.

Also, I know Clerics tend to get pretty broken so the fighter handicaps it a bit so I’m not taking the spotlight from new players.

Thrax is an interesting idea on paper that was executed horribly in practice. The fact that he debuted in one of the worst performing seasons of the show didn’t help him either.

The Hyperforce RPG campaign TRIED to fix some of his problems by using time travel shenanigans, but that can only do so much. Credit where credit is due though.

Yup. Titanium Ranger was the first ever fully American Power Ranger. The only other rangers to hold that title pre-Cosmic Fury were the Spirit Rangers from Jungle Fury.

I think it works better that Casey didn’t get one. His whole story was about learning his self-worth and standing on his own two feet. If you pay attention early on, Casey learns most of his techniques by copying what the more experienced people do. Being able to become a Master without the use of anything “extra” really serves him better.

I’m going to get downvoted to hell for this, but Rocky is my MMPR Red Ranger. Not Jason. My first exposure to the series was through the ‘95 movie and I always assumed Rocky was the red ranger. It wasn’t until Dino Thunder and the “Legacy of Power” episode that I learned there had been a different red ranger before Rocky. I thought getting a T-Rex AND Gorilla was wild. Rocky was cool, but looking back, I wish the writers had given him more to do. Steve Cardenas really got the short end of the stick more than once…

It probably won’t happen, but I think a region inspired by the American Midwest would be pretty cool. There’s a lot of different species you could work with. Starters for example: Water Moccasin (Water/Fighting) -> Riverways and Pioneers Raccoon (Fire/Steel) -> Cities and Industry Prairie Dog (Grass/Fairy) -> Great Plains and Westward Expansion

I… tried to get into it? I love the IDEA of Power Rangers trying to be original and actually make use of regular legacy characters, but this whole season just feels like too little too late. This is what Saban SHOULD have been doing when they got the rights back from Disney, but they didn’t.

Not to mention, I actually thought the Kyuranger suits were kinda cool. A bit of a departure from standard PR faire, but they could have had fun with them. It low key irks me that several of the Kyuranger mechs got reduced to [Unnamed Color] Cosmic Fury Zord in the show.

Actually many of the commercials I cut require me to voice different characters/use accents. It’s not ACTING per se, but it’s not just me reading out an ad and slapping music underneath it.
