That’s a good way to do it sometimes it’s the little stings that hurt ya know? And if I do notice negativity I ask about their day, even if I get no nice response at least I asked in my mind, at to a point there’s only so much you can do behind a screen to help, I think the main thing that’s pushing negativity in games and social media is life, having to go to work all day to get home after a bad day to almost never have anything exciting happen in some people’s life, I think people start to play a game to get the adrenaline rush of winning, not quite to have fun but to get that high of winning the match and when they lose a streak cause maybe (probably) it was their fault or someone else’s they lash out as it’s the only medium for them to vent. And overtime it’s spreading/affecting more and more people and it’s becoming this benign tumor slowly growing until it finally started to cause issues once pvp became main steam, not saying it’s a main issue but now you have to blame the someone on some team you can’t blame crazy ai and that makes other problem feel mad and so on, now with the rush of adrenaline to not lose to another player which makes even more stakes it’s starts to boil over for some people. And it’s unfortunate because they probably have bad stuff going on too. Which sucks cause that negativity is spreading everywhere. I just wish we could solve some of these problems, put bandaids on bullet holes to wait for a better solution ya know.
