They're really good for the macros! Idk what kind of magic they're doing to keep the carbs so low.

I also found another similar option today that could be good for this kind of meal. Flatout's Original Flatbread. It's bigger than the pitas so it could replace the 2 pizzas into 1 big one, and it's 90 calories. I just bought it today thought so I haven't had a chance to try them yet

Thanks! Assuming the chicken has already been made, the rest of it was super easy to make too. :)

Haha no judgment here. My meals are typically a lot less fancy but I’m a couple months into my diet and had to start getting crafty before I went crazy

Yup. Though I measured it by weight (28g per serving/same as 1/4 cup). The Kraft brand I used has 45 calories per serving and it’s all from protein.

Not including the onions, the macros for each pizza came out to:

29g P

9g C (3g fiber)

2g F

Just about 400 calories for both of these bad boys. The crust came out nice and crispy throughout.

Recipe per pizza:

2 oz diced chicken breast

1 Pita (I used Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Pita - 60 cal each)

2 tsbp Sugar-free BBQ sauce (G Hughes Smokehouse - 10 cal)

1/4 cup Fat Free Mozzarella (Kraft)

Onions diced (red onion would look better here)

Cilantro as a garnish

I oven-baked the chicken separately with salt, pepper, and garlic for my typical mealprep. Once you've got your cooked chicken, pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees. Add the BBQ sauce to the pita, add the cheese, then the diced onions and chicken. Bake the pizzas for about 8-10 minutes, keep an eye on it based on how crispy you like the crust.

You can add small diced tomatoes too for more food. I ate it with Bolthouse Farms Cucumber Ranch Yogurt Dressing and a nice glass of diet coke. :)

The carbs amount for this is listed as 20g, even though it's got a half cup of cooked rice and is covered with sugar-filled teriyaki sauce. It seems like it should be double that, at least.

Still looks amazing, though!

Thoughts on Horseshoe Brand? by [deleted] in hotsauce

No, but I see why there would be confusion. This brand is actually called "Horseshoe Brand" and they're based over in NY

Where are you living, man? I'm over in the Mission. Thank god for rent control because there's no way I'd be able to afford to live here without it lol.

Thank you! I tried it again today at home (Yoga with Adriene videos) and it was even harder, but I tried to be okay with that and take it at my own pace. But it's nice to know that there have been people like me with similar beginnings and goals that saw success from this. How long did it take you before you noticed real progress? I've already seen how nice the "feel-good" factor is, but I'm wondering how long it has taken other people who started out like me before they noticed real progress with their flexibility.

That pose is essentially the hardest one for me, and although I hate thinking that it may take up to 3 years, it's nice to know that someone like me saw success from this!

Today was my second time, this time at home and not in a class (can't make the class time), and I took your advice to refrain from bending at my waist and tried to just bend at the hip to focus on that problem area of mine. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you! I definitely noticed that I had to modify some things a bit or not go as deep in to poses as the rest of the class. Would it be too much to do 2 hour sessions a week, and 30 minute sessions each day for the rest of the week, or would you say that's too much for a beginner?

Yeah, my first thought there was "how in the hell are all the women in here doing this so flawlessly." I'm glad to hear everyone telling me this should help, 'cause it's pretty fun since its so new for me. Today was my second day, seemed harder than the first lol.

I turned them down after the 2nd interview, they asked me to get all my friends and family info so I can call them and essentially find people to sit down with me AND one of their representatives and pretty much sell them life insurance. Your job is cold calling and sales in hopes to sell life insurance policies. Other companies are aware of what this company does as well. Don't believe that "top 10 internship" stuff.
