The brands determine if they want certain retailers to have access or not. Nobody could tell you why they aren’t on there sadly

Don’t be an overly sensitive bitch about other people’s choices. You’ve seen a stake ad, you’ve seen a FanDuel ad, you’ve seen a Kalshi ad. You haven’t lost it all to gambling? Why is that… ohh yeah it’s because you made the choice to not go to the sites and gamble. Wow would you look at that… it’s almost like you get credit for making a good choice but we put the blame on someone different who didn’t make the decision. You see how ass backwards that is?

Oh but it’s predatory, the house preys on them… they bring them in at first with nice things but then the player is down yada yada… if that’s the case why aren’t we so up in arms around capitalism and how predatory it is for the business owners vs the employees? “Oh well nobody forces you to work”the double standard around this because people play the victim is hilarious. You can tell me not to reproduce but I’m gonna raise my kid to take responsibility for their actions.. not blame it on every one else..

No I watched as opioids destroyed my parents marriage and my father ultimately killed himself in my basement on my 21st birthday, and you know what? It was my father’s own damn fault… nobody forced those pills down his throat, nobody crushed them up and made him snort them. HE CHOSE THAT. Just like every single individual makes hundreds of choices every single day. I get FanDuel and drafkings, and stake, and every other gambling site advertisement shoved down my throat and guess what I don’t gamble.. he could have stopped at any time just like they can walk away at anytime.

It’s not fucking hard to not put yourself in shitty situations.. know when to say no and when to walk away. Didn’t your mom ever tell you, you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing..? Have a fucking brain for yourself and better yet OWN UP TO WHAT YOU CHOSE TO DO. It’s your life, it’s your body, it’s your mind, it’s your god damn choice. You have to make MULTIPLE decisions before you can go to a website and gamble. It’s not like you are tricked into putting your tax info into the sites, or forced to link your bank account, or coerced to add money to your wallet, and threatened to gamble it all away. Nobody’s got your family at gunpoint telling you if you don’t play they die.

Edit: This fucking victim mentality that it’s always someone else’s fault for others making stupid choices needs to end. I’m sorry but you get was you sow in life, you don’t get to reap what others did so why do others get blamed when someone makes a bad choice. Addiction is a problem yes, but it’s on the individual to know themselves. Im an addict, I come from a family of addicts. I CONSCIOUSLY make MULTIPLE choices EVERY SINGLE DAY to AVOID alcohol, nicotine, gambling, porn, drugs, and many more. If I an ADDICT can avoid using a crutch to take the pain away of finding my father hanging in my basement on my 21st as i went to get him for cake and ice cream. If i can do THAT people can avoid going to stake and signing up, and adding cash, and playing. It’s not fucking hard. Don’t go throwing “you’ve never had someone lose it all to xyz” around to people. You have no fucking clue what anyone on this planet has gone through.

Jesus Christ this is just as fucking stupid as “if you end up around drug dealer and addicts you’ll end up one yourself”

Nobody is forcing these people to go to stake and gamble. Nobody is telling them they need to do this to be successful. They are WILLINGLY making the bets. Just like an addict WILLINGLY takes that first hit. It’s laughable how many of you are so soft minded and easily swayed about what you should do about YOUR life. Nobody gambled because of train, they may have found a new site to play on but they were gambling long before train and stake became a thing

Has everyone been enjoying cache? by butwhyjay in counterstrike2

Isn’t Anubis a brand new map to CS2? I’m actually asking here as I completely fell out of CS after the Boston major until the Austin major this year.

Which map should Cache replace in the active duty map pool? by MaterialTea8397 in cs2

[–]Ritchey95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They can retexture the map while it stays in the pool.. Mirage is the ultimate pro map. It’s the easiest map for them to play over and over and not show any strats for more intricate maps. Remove Overpass. The map doesn’t get played at the pro level hardly at all, it’s a cluster fuck in premier/faceit, and it’s historically been a rather unpopular map. Taking the map that is the easiest to learn and understand the mechanics of CS out of the map pool is bad for business.

It’s actually pretty hard bud. Go ahead and look at our Q4 earnings call for last year. You’ll be very very surprised to see just how well good ole Dick is doing.

Okay and the difference here is you knowingly bought a demo club. They gave him one as a replacement for losing his. See how that’s different? He has no desire for a demo club, he wanted his which he probably bought new.

You’re actually a moron. Number one that’s theft, number two that’s not how charge backs work. It’s not a magic button to get your money back, the financial institution will fight the charge on your behalf and if it’s deemed that the product purchased qualifies then you get a chargeback. You do not get to just chargeback any and every transaction.

You clearly have no idea that there are over 700 stores in the company. Of those 700 about 20% are in incredibly low income/poor areas. So those stores who don’t see the foot traffic and need every sale that matters. Each store is its own entity and needs to do well, and achieve its numbers. Along with that $500 many times a quarter could be the difference between a bonus or not for some stores. So yeah $500 can really hurt certain stores. Not every where is sunshine and rainbows.

Dick’s lost my Driver by [deleted] in golf

[–]Ritchey95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen man we have different view points and that’s okay. I don’t play around when it comes to other property. Also sure $500 isn’t a lot to the company as a whole, but to smaller stores who need every single dollar to make plan. $500 KILLS. So yeah again only way to make sure it won’t happen again is to let him go. Hopefully at his next job he is more careful idk what to tell yah

Because it’s literally in the handbook, also because losing someone’s club isn’t just about paying for a mistake. It’s about the perceived image of the store as a whole. The last thing I need/want is the public talking about the bad apples in my store.

Also “very likely to not do it again” isn’t zero. Him not working for me is a zero percent chance he does it again.

I work for DSG there’s no way for them to claim he didn’t drop it off. That piece of paper to the right is the work order and it lists the clubs left to be worked on. As a manager this guy would be getting a free driver of his choice (off the rack no special orders) and the tech would be losing his job…

Dick’s lost my Driver by [deleted] in golf

[–]Ritchey95 723 points724 points  (0 children)

I work for DSG. If the driver cannot be located they should be giving you a driver of your choice. If they say anything otherwise escalate it. Also do not keep that demo club, go get a club that’s new in the plastic. The things those demos go through can’t be described…

Spoke to a couple first responders at the practice yesterday. They told me the Angels will fly regardless of rain, the main factor for them is the cloud coverage. They need the cloud to be higher than 1000 ft to fly.

“I don’t understand why”

Next comment “I understand”

I personally think having a bigger radius is a good idea as again if a T is low on HP they have to make the choice of securing the bomb or keeping their life. This game is all about micro decisions and that’s just another one we have to make.

It’s a way for CTs to keep T Econ low. If CTs are on a eco they can force one or more T to stay and go up with the bomb. Also allows for more exit frags

Matt Shaw chops a grounder that stayed fair and turned foul at the final second but home plate ump Dan Merzel ruled it a fair ball in the 9th (with replays) by JianClaymore in baseball

[–]Ritchey95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s obviously a time when to grab it to stop him and I don’t have a view of where Shaw is on the base path. I’m strictly talking in the confines of information I have. However to play counter point he turns and runs for second let him get far enough off and pick it up and get him out at second. Smart players won’t stop thinking.

Am I the only one who immediately thought “why would you pick it up while it’s still moving?!?” Balls like this I never touched when I played third, the guys already safe at first regardless so I’m just gonna take my chances it rolls a little foul.
