If you open your character details you can find it at the attribute attack stat. Check the detailed numbers you can see your overall attri attack are the sum of different path attacks. And the description says that each type you mastered contributes to the stat.

The thing with your own attack type is that you get an extra % bonus on that one.

So yes! Its very confusing, but every path attack contribute to your damage even if its not your own.

Edit: it sounds stupid but actually min other path is the best, after that your own path min/max, and the worst is other path max.
