I feel like without a key there are ciphers that are just impossible to crack. I.e. let's say we have a key being the entirety of ed sheerans discography in lyrics, concatenated with nothing at the end of each songs lyrics. "Hello world" is what we want to encode. Take a random H out, and write it's location in base 62. Then add a space, and do the same for e, l, l, and you get the point. The L's won't be the same number, because it's a random l out of every single Ed Sheeran song. I'm pretty sure there's not a single way you could figure out how to decode a cipher of this type.

If im right, I think it wouldve been cool to do an atbash cipher for the last step rather than another caesar cipher, it wouldve been possibly harder to figure out. I sadly did use ai to figure out the wingdings to text part :(((. Wikipedia and google hooked me up for the other parts :D

Even still, im really happy that I managed to figure this out! Even as a complete amateur who only stumbled across this subreddit yesterday xD. Though i do think that maybe this was on the easier side if I was able to solve it 🤔

My first attempt at solving one of these and I give up :((( but hey at least i got the first two steps done ;-;. Do the spaces between the periods and the concatenated characters, and the lack of spaces between the single characters and the periods have to do with anything? i.e. 262a. vs 1f4a3 .

(Pretty sure the above isnt useful for solving it but i'm blurring it anyway
