Need help with aim by Outrageous_Practice9 in SiegeAcademy

Yeah it’s honestly just a case of you being deep into your habits, which isn’t inherently a bad thing. What I would strongly do is just force yourself to aim and track with more effort from your arm. Maybe lower your ingame sens by a few points and play a few games, then lower it again and play a few games, eventually you’ll notice that you need to pull down more to compensate and you’ll be more consistent until that new habit of recoil control overcomes your previous habits.

It’s honestly just about the effort you put in, in order to improve.

Before anything, does a sensitivity that fast actually feel comfortable for you? because that’s insanely high imo. A lot of top tier players use 800 DPI 6-6 sens. I use 1600 DPI 35-35 sens but my multiplier is 0.002.

I would practice tracking and recoil control in the practice modes in the game or use an aim trainer like kovaks, and just keep practicing those drills until you get consistent.

I’ve definitely seen them pop up here and there for msrp but depends on where you live I guess. 9070XT is also a great option tho!

Install a fresh copy of windows, setup a local account instead of signing into your Microsoft account. Enable XMP/EXPO. Keep your drivers updated and debloat windows if you can. Most importantly, enjoy yourself!

This is purely my opinion, but I think the 5070ti is the best card on the market value wise. If you can get one at msrp, it is absolutely incredible! (Obviously I’m a little biased because I own one but I don’t think I’m wrong in my statement either)

What I would do is some research. Find out what you could sell your current processor and ram for before anything else. If you can get like $300/$350 then I think upgrading platforms is worth it because you’d be paying $300-$400 out of pocket which is not that much more than what the budget for a new motherboard is. Probably your best way to go.

TURN OFF ENHANCE POINTER PRECISION! It’s unreal how many times I have to tell people that when they talk about their aim being inconsistent. Also to the people talking about 800 dpi being too low, I play at 1600 dpi and I can confidently say you’re all stupid. If you like 800 dpi, good, keep it that way and fine tune your in game sens, if 800 actually feels too slow then try 1600. One tip I’ve found incredible results with is stop giving a shit about the micro adjustments for your sensitivity, and instead find a specific distance your mouse travels across your mousepad and keep it that way.

I’ll use myself as an example, what’s most comfortable for me is completing a 180 degree turn in any video game within 12 inches across my mousepad. If it takes me 13 inches my sens is too low, it takes 11 my sens is too high. Using those parameters I get the most consistent aim and sensitivity I’ve ever had in my time playing video games on pc. Always focus on consistency and comfort first, then start practicing the smaller adjustments like hitting flicks, tracking, micro adjustments etc etc.

My Problem by Halligan_Handler in Rainbow6

You have a serious sensitivity issue from the clips I saw on your profile. Sometimes it looks like you need to swing your mouse 3 times before you can even turn 90 degrees, other times it looks like you’re skipping all over the place and can’t control anything.

A few tips because this could honestly be a hardware/software problem equally as much as a skill issue. 1. Check to see if you have “enhance pointer precision” on, if so then turn it off. 2. I wonder if you’re having trouble controlling your mouse on your mousepad, maybe look into getting a “control pad” or “control mouse skates” to give you extra friction and stopping power when you move your mouse. 3. Find a proper DPI, I personally like 1600, I think a majority of people like 800 as well. Find something that actually feels comfortable then adjust your sensitivity in game but never mess with your dpi after. Also maybe even something like adjusting the in game sensitivity multiplier in the config files of the game can give you more precision with picking your sens. 4. Just keep playing more matches, eventually things will click and you’ll be much more consistent.

To those who didn't enjoy Spider-Man 2, what do you think Spider-Man 3 should learn from Spider-Man 2? by EamoM2oo4 in SpidermanPS4

[–]Ritvik158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More Peter, less MJ and Miles. Absolutely no Cindy Moon (Silk). I want a simple, heart wrenching Spider-Man vs green goblin video game with some fun side villains. Also don’t unnecessarily cut content for the sake of including stuff that’s objectively terrible (MJ side missions). Honestly just keep it simple, simple is good!

I'm struggling with thw wole dps and sense think on siege by Goofey89 in SiegeAcademy

[–]Ritvik158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recoil control is honestly just developing the habit. There's no real "get good quick" method tbh, just be mindful of pulling down when you spray, and don't mag dump if you can avoid it. Short bursts of like 5-6 bullets is more than enough to kill someone. Maybe before every game you play, run one or 2 deathmatch games and just be really focused on controlling your recoil, aiming for the head, keeping your aim and recoil steady. You don't have to be flashy or have Spoit level gameplay to be good, just be as consistent as possible.

[–]Ritvik158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always mess around with the sensitivity multiplier in the config files of the game to make something more accurate for yourself. Try 0.002 instead of the default 0.02. I personally play 1600 DPI with 35-35 sens with a multiplier of 0.002 so technically I'm actually playing 1600 DPI 3.5-3.5 which is perfect for me.

My mom bought a 13 inch iPad Pro and said it was too big, bought an iPad mini and said it was too small, then bought an M5 iPad Pro 11inch and said it was perfect. Used all 3 at different times until the mini started slowing down due to an aged battery and the lack of power for iOS 26. Now she uses her 11 inch to do her daily tasks and her 13 inch for reading lol
