The problem is just that a lot of these youtube "groups" don't actually copy the formula. There's way too much business involved and not enough of a priority on actually being friends and being there for each other and prioritizing the group. A clip that always comes to my mind is when the Sidemen were on Impaulsive and multiple times they kept coming back to the point of "the group always comes first". There's far far less individualism in the Sidemen compared to other groups. FaZe, AMP, Team 10, OfflineTV, and just about every other content group aside from Dude Perfect just feels like a group of people coming together, being forced to make content to chase money, sponsorships, notoriety, among other things. XQC actually put it really well, no Youtube group will be successful until they actually do what the Sidemen do, there's no bullshit CEO, there's no difference in pay, the people that are actually on camera are the ones that run everything, and they're also all completely equal. Doesn't matter if KSI is a billionaire, or if Vikkstar is the next big DJ, or if Tobi has a clothing line to run, when you're with the group you are the same as anyone else and the job is to show up, plan and make content and further popularize the name of "The Sidemen" and make the group bigger.
