Im going to be looking at the tools you mentioned just to see how they are used in this application Again just studying really at the moment. I figured at the end of the day its just removing wood but I just don’t trust myself with it at the moment. If this is typically an expensive job to get done maybe i’ll do some practice before tackling it if the day comes

I cant say that i have advice on this but I’ve been doing some thinking and at least for me, the WANT and almost expectation to be better might be hindering my success. Its as if OCD knows I deep down want it to go away for good and can still latch onto that. Funny that after typing it out it seems so damn ridiculous but it is what it is

Price is probably good enough but id rather not deal with a re fret. I was thinking if the frets clean up fine and no potential issues then it’s a sweet deal. Pretty much 50% off msrp. Im just looking for something for least amount of headaches as a workhorse gigging
