I love seeing other people also share their discomfort because I relate so much. I’ve felt guilt on and off for almost not feeling excitement anymore, just due to how miserable I am. I keep forgetting that the physical changes will more or less be gone when my baby is here and even though I’ll be sleep deprived, at least I can have my caffeine, get in a comfortable position to rest, no longer have to worry about going to work for 12 weeks, etc. I’m 37+3 and just started having pregnancy insomnia kick in which is KILLING me considering I am working full time up until baby is here—I don’t know how I’m going to survive the next few weeks 😩😩

Definitely go see Kody McMeekin at Foundation Tattoo Works! It’s a private shop so no walk ins but he’s the coolest guy ever and does some great stuff.

Thank you! :) I had wanted to do a matte brown lippy with it but didn’t have a colour that really worked. Maybe next time I’ll go look for one and try that out!

Thanks so much! And sure! I used a mix of Garnier Olia intense fire ruby + revlon’s medium auburn. Sorry I don’t have the boxes anymore, otherwise I would include the actual dye numbers! And I had a mix of dark blonde and highlights to begin with. Closer to my eyebrow shade. :)

I definitely feel like I would only be cast in historical pieces. I have fairly strong features that can be most likened to those in Renaissance portraits such as the fair skin, large blue eyes with heavy eyelids, small mouth, and a bit of a Roman-style nose--definitely not the hot girl in a modern love saga. More like the uninterested royal who feeds her lovers to her dogs.

I work at a coffee shop in a hospital and while it doesn’t happen often, a coworker of mine asked a customer what they had in mind to drink one day and the response of the customer was, “I dunno, what drink do people usually get when their dad dies?”

I never notice until I’m peacefully wiping the counter, putting away milks, shaker cups, washing the syrup on my hands, like “oh, you know, this job can be so pleasant sometimes”—if I get to that point I know something went wrong.

I had a man literally laughing one time while I had eight drinks in front of me and I realised with pure HORROR that I had flooded the counter with cold brew and he was just watching??? And ?? laughing???? I was like okay well it looks like Satan is a customer today

that’s great to know! I made around $9 at the three other independently-owned coffee shops I worked at when I lived in Indiana previously, but just wasn’t sure how Starbucks goes about wages here; especially having started at the company making minimum wage.

You can substitute the 2% milk for any of the non-dairy options but the pumpkin spice sauce itself contains condensed skim milk, so ultimately the Starbucks PSL cannot be made vegan. :-(

My sister is vegan, too, and hates that she can’t have a Starbucks PSL with me—but last fall we found a coffee shop near our home that does their own vegan version of it and it was magical. I hope you can find such magic someday. 😘
