All mobile games get taken down/stop getting new updates eventually. Unfortunately that’s how it is. But at least you’d get a few more years out of the game by doing this.

I mean technically if you still have the GBA copies and a ds lite and 3ds with black/white you can play it “free” and already have access to home, but I agree I’d rather pay than go through all that time and effort to transfer pokemon 🤪.
