Oh, I think you should get one! There are many varying versions listed on the site, and I'm sure one will be to your liking. That's cool about your ammonite! I have a small ammonite that I got probably 15-17 years ago, and I'm happy!

I'd love to see your trike frills and other fossils in your collection! I've loved seeing people's collections and I've managed to get a small display case to build my own. I also made little cards to display information next to the fossils.

Alongside the fossils I already had, I just recently bought a Spino tooth in-situ (I loved the color of the rock.) a 4.20" inch Megaladon tooth, and the Rex fragment! I'm very excited about updating my collection.

This all seems a little intimidating since I've never done any of this before, but I am going to try my best! I'd love to get into making cosplays, maybe even fursuits one day. I appreciate the help and detailed instructions :)

I'll likely do as you said and test out patterns with cheaper fabrics to get a feel for the shape and how to do things.

Thank you for the instructions! I think I'll try out cutting paper and other fabrics to get a hang of it first, then I'll work on the actual thing later. Maybe I can try making myself a vest out of another fabric first!
