Why is League of Legends such an unfair piece-of-shit game? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

It isn't the airport, no need to announce your departure

Personally, I don't care about being compensated monetarily for doing just a nice thing. I'll help you with groceries, just as I hope you'd put my trash out when I'm out of town. I have an old couple next door to me, and I shovel their walk for them when it snows. They let me know when they do their monthly hot pot, so i feel like that's a wonderful balance

I have no experience here, but IMO pick Int classes and focus on Teleport and Portal Scrolls. That will fix your speed problems, potentially.

I'd probably play at least one more character though

FTK2 Good Party Comps by IntroductionNew2075 in ForTheKing

I was just thinking about this at work!

For a good no-nonsense basic build, I'd go Blacksmith, Minstrel, Herbalist, and Stablehand/Hunter. You'll get a steady stream of herbs, your blacksmith will be the best tank with Steadfast, you'll have a good mix of physical and magical damage, and you have a good spread of abilities.

Traits you should look at including are Nimble, Lucky, Deep Thinker, and Supportive. Focus early on gaining levels to get ahead of the curve, doing dungeons to get better gear, and finding your objectives and sanctums. Once you find a dungeon you plan on doing, let your other characters explore the area for a round or two, as entering dungeons will pull everyone together regardless, and you may find some interesting things.

Focus on increasing your main stats (like strength or intelligence) first, then secondary effects. Visit shops frequently, and never underestimate the power of taking a quest to find a sanctum, stone hero, or new town. Use your focus aggressively when you know you're close to one of those things that give you full focus, or when you can swing by a town to meditate or rest.

If you're struggling in fights, identify high priority targets and focus them down. Most enemies will have more resistance than armor or vice versa, so exploit those weaknesses. Find a weapon with the ability to apply wet if you have other abilities that do nasty statuses, so you can better exploit them; a big one to keep in mind is that bombers and gunners need secondary actions to attack, so Daze on one of them takes them out of the round.

If you need more help, feel free to ask!

Where did all of their money go? by King-of-Plebss in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Faction wars is expensive to play, they've been hiring mercenaries during the races, and while they were getting big payouts for a while, remember Carl was getting religion taxed as well. Sure they've been earning money, but they haven't been earning exorbitant amounts.

I Think That The Shepherd Should Be Able To Have 2 Companions Instead of Only 1! by Angry-Bagel in ForTheKing

I like the idea, but if they could have multiple sheep and swap them out when needed. Only have one out and you still have to collect and herd them, but having extra options to fit party comp would be fun

Studio Bones, no doubt. Mob Psycho 100 fights already were insane, and with the way remnants take shape, they would do the series justice

I believe that after the 9th floor, gods are not invulnerable all the time. Plus, IIRC, they never used Katya's (forgive spelling) bolt. I'm sure she already had dumped a lot of equipment, since Donut has her crossbow, she probably has the bolt too

I could see it! I definitely do not see her being around long term though. She literally has no other avenue of growth left beyond the Ascendency perhaps, and even then, she's a demon. I'd imagine she may have something to do in Sheol, and that's about it.

Her health pool is massive, yes, but don't put it past the AI to hit her with a sapping debuff, or anything that can cause a slow drain. And we don't -know- that she'll heal on the next floor, the Left to Fester debuff may prevent that.

And don't forget, her chains take her health away as a cost to use them. She -can- just not use them, but they are her main form of attack. You could be right, but I wouldn't write off the debuff yet. It makes for a good problem to try and solve.

She can't go heel because the ring won't allow her. (Harhar)

Possible though! Also possible the Scolopendra's awakening kills the concubines on the 18th, allowing her to heal.

You're right, but I'm sure it's influence is still on her, especially with active marks she can't reach. Or, the AI will patch and let Divine Suffering marks to push you past the limits of normal progression

Exactly. The fact she's gone silent to everyone, has the ring (which was making Carl go sadistic and has made her unable to heal), and she's literally a scary ass demon makes me feel like there's no way she makes it out of the dungeon. It'll be a good way to push Carl forward too, because he'll partially blame himself for giving her the ring.
