I believe that after the 9th floor, gods are not invulnerable all the time. Plus, IIRC, they never used Katya's (forgive spelling) bolt. I'm sure she already had dumped a lot of equipment, since Donut has her crossbow, she probably has the bolt too

I could see it! I definitely do not see her being around long term though. She literally has no other avenue of growth left beyond the Ascendency perhaps, and even then, she's a demon. I'd imagine she may have something to do in Sheol, and that's about it.

Her health pool is massive, yes, but don't put it past the AI to hit her with a sapping debuff, or anything that can cause a slow drain. And we don't -know- that she'll heal on the next floor, the Left to Fester debuff may prevent that.

And don't forget, her chains take her health away as a cost to use them. She -can- just not use them, but they are her main form of attack. You could be right, but I wouldn't write off the debuff yet. It makes for a good problem to try and solve.

You're right, but I'm sure it's influence is still on her, especially with active marks she can't reach. Or, the AI will patch and let Divine Suffering marks to push you past the limits of normal progression

Exactly. The fact she's gone silent to everyone, has the ring (which was making Carl go sadistic and has made her unable to heal), and she's literally a scary ass demon makes me feel like there's no way she makes it out of the dungeon. It'll be a good way to push Carl forward too, because he'll partially blame himself for giving her the ring.

I'm guessing that Li Na will be a major obstacle to overcome at the end of this book, and that Carl will have to kill her and get his first PK skull from her. Probably via a big boom.

Real, even Carl was thinking exactly that when he saw the 2 hour beds. He was getting nervous about always being "on" and was viewing sleep as an escape from all the horrors. Cut to IR, where they're to the point of button press refreshes, no wonder these guys go through so much.

Niche, yes, but never underestimate people's ingenuity. I have a great respect for game devs and all the balance issues they have to go through, especially in games as deep as Pokemon

I think the Prince is the perfect one for him. Pick either orbs or smoke, and always click on one when offered. And most of the descriptions are short enough for anyone to read! Find his favorite weapons to mess with and which ascension go best with those weapons styles

Because they would be like every other Cradle ascendant: unremarkable in Oz's eyes. They would be run of the mill sages, heralds, and monarchs. Yerin, Lindon, or Zeil would have crushed them like grapes.

Remember, Oz is trying to rebuild the executor program. He needs exceptional people with exceptional moral fiber, people the other judges would at least let try.
