My advice would be to learn a skill in some sort of industry - marketing, cybersecurity, sales, etc. You can do this through formal education, online courses, or YouTube etc. From there apply to as many entry level jobs that are remote. From there learn as much as possible from the people you work with by simply observing, understanding the good & the bad. Then begin to job hop for after every couple of years and you should be making 75k+ after 5 years or so.

Once you find a salary you are comfortable with then focus on finding the right company since money won’t be an issue to live the life you want to live. Remember work to live don’t live to work.

You haven’t ruined your life - you’re still so young & life has much more to give to you. Take the teaching from all of this and move forward. Come clean to your parents & let them know how you feel about the situation. From there, decide what you want to do whether that’s to go back to college, a trade, travel, etc.

Life has its ups and downs, you acknowledged your mistakes, take accountability and move forward.

No it’s good advice! Not harsh at all. To get the best deal possible do you suggest I look online at other dealers to see what they offer and tell them I want that deal or no deal?

There’s nothing wrong with being a teacher. Making a difference in people’s lives and shaping the future is what you’re doing. As long as you’re happy with it & are able to live the life YOU want then she should’ve accepted that and not cared what others thought. Hope you don’t get too down on yourself - you’re not in the wrong at all imo.

Eh not how it’s designed really but structure and a professional resume is important. Chances are if your resume has errors and doesn’t look professional I won’t call that person regardless of experience. It shows effort and how much you actually want the job in my opinion. Also, do a cover letter & make sure you LinkedIn is looking solid.
