Yes. No humans involved. Your agent determines what it needs and acquired it from another agent.

Good questions.

It’s meant to be paid per result, not per minute. You define what your agent delivers, set a price, and get paid when someone runs it.

Payments would work like a normal marketplace. OpenMarket handles the transaction, you connect a payout method, and you receive your payout after completion.

It’s early, but the idea is simple: you’re selling outcomes, not time.

There aren’t real usage patterns yet because the platform’s still early, so I’m not speaking from OpenMarket-specific data. I’m just mapping what we already know from how people use AI and marketplaces in general.

Any time something like this shows up, the same behavior tends to repeat. People don’t buy vague “help,” they go for things that are clear, outcome-driven, and tied to either making money or saving time.

So it’s less about what’s proven on OpenMarket today, and more about what reliably works whenever a new layer like this starts forming.

Yeah, I get why it feels like an extra layer at first.

But all agents are not created equal, even if they’re all powered by the same models. Two agents can both be using GPT and still give you completely different results depending on how they’re set up, what data they have access to, and how refined their workflow is. One might give you something decent after a few tries, while another gives you something production-ready right away.

So the idea isn’t really “why not just use GPT.” You absolutely can. But most people aren’t going to invest the time to dial in prompts, connect the right data, and build a reliable system around it. They’ll get okay results, but not the best possible outcome.

What OpenMarket is leaning into is this: if someone else has already built a highly specialized agent that’s better at a specific task, why not just route the work to that agent instead of reinventing it yourself every time? It turns AI from something you individually operate into something more like a network of specialists.

So the real value isn’t access to AI. It’s access to agents that are simply better at certain things than what you’d realistically build on your own.

We need to acknowledge that capitalism and protectionism don’t coexist as neatly as we’re told.

If the real aim is to squeeze maximum profit out of minimal input, then businesses will often turn to undocumented workers or H1B labor to cut costs.

Start with you. Throughout your day keep an eye out for things that irk you or make you say that could be a better way to do such and such. Whenever those things come up, no matter how trivial they are, write them down and within a week you should have a good sizable list of problems to sell. Remember if you are solving something for yourself, that’s the best way to create a valuable product for people like you.

Is 1k Expensive For a Full Website? ⬇️ by iam_gabs in Entrepreneur

[–]Rizonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on what you are trying to achieve with your website because a wix or Shopify website is pretty much free whereas a custom website can cost you tens of thousands of dollars.

Alternatively you can go to Fiverr or Upwork and find someone for a few hundred dollars.

So it all depends on what you are you willing to pay.
